We are in a family room with the kids, the noise from the bar is so loud we can’t sleep. Every time someone goes to the toilet a loud bang reverberates through the room. I can actually hear conversations, foul language and the clanking of glasses...and this will go on until 1am!

Thank for your review. As I personally checked you in I explained to you in full that our family room was above the pub and could be noisy. You assured me this would be fine. I also warned you about what time the pub would shut. I went through this information with you twice. We are a very busy pub and it can be noisy at times this is why we warn our residents on check in as if this would be an issue we could of possibly moved you to another room. With it being bank holiday weekend the area is exceptionally busy. I can only apologise for your feelings towards your stay but I did give you all the information on check in. Thanks Lucy

A number of issues arose and the over stretched and under-trained (?) staff failed to respond to them effectively. No WiFi was available, to which the response was simply that the server was not working. TV reception was abysmal with only one channel intermittently working.
