Stayed here on a business trip last night and it's fairly well located and a fairly decent hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the rooms were pretty basic, beds were fairly comfortable and clean. The hotel does however need a bit of refurbishment as it's looking a bit old in places, but nothing too much to worry...

Visited the a couple of times recently, 1st was for a business meeting when I got a small coffee which cost over £3 and the service didn't make up for the extra cost either .. and the 2nd was to a function when 2 regular drinks cost over £10. I don't mind paying a bit extra at a hotel, but...

We stopped here as a party of 7 for lunch in the bar. We ordered our food, a mixture of sandwiches, pizza and chips and it took nearly 45 minutes for it to arrive. When it did eventually appear it was just awful. The waitress appeared at the table with our first pizza and as she got to the table...

Room and general appearance is old and tired and in many places just plain dirty. Staff are friendly but the whole place needs a refresh. The shower is only a dribble, the electrics don't appear entirely safe and all the fittings are very worn and not clean.

Stayed in a family room with my wife and 2 babies. Got a family room that was really nice. I stay at a few hotels with restaurants and usually the restaurants aren't special. The steak restaurant was fantastic, great staff and good wine selection. Would stay again.

I recently stayed here for about three weeks while working away. The hotel is really conveniently located, just off the M6, and very comfortable. The room was clean, the food was good, but the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They are all very friendly and they can't do enough to help you. I was very impressed by...
