We were leaving on a Cruise from the Port of Dover and it was suggested we stay outside of Dover. We found this great B and B just 10 mins from the Port in St Margaret's at Cliffe, within walking distance of the White Cliffs of Dover. A short cab ride from the port, although we had a vehicle. It... More

This is the second time we have stayed at Holms Oak and is still as lovely as the first time. The owners are delightful, the room we stayed in was fantastic value and a very high standard - I wish all guest houses could be the same. The breakfast was soooo good. I would recommend this B & B every... More

Our room was above a garage and very private. Great décor and a fantastic shower. Room was very modern and décor was very tastefully done. Great breakfast in the main house. Can't compliment enough, very helpful hosts. Will return one day

Holm Oaks is an excellent B&B that offers quality accommodation and fantastic breakfast options, including a very tasty full English. Pauline is an excellent host and was very willing supply a gluten free option at breakfast. We stayed in the annex room, which is desperate to the main house. This is a very spacious room with on suite, the bed/mattress... More

This is one of those rare occasions I wish six stars were available. Holm Oaks certainly deserves them. Let's start with the physical aspects: splendidly comfortable beds, an appealing room hung with pleasing pictures and a beautifully tiled bathroom with thoughtful 'little extras' of toiletries added in. Throw in hearing an owl serenade the night and wake to look out... More

Had the double room on the first floor, room is very comfortable with a view over fields. Breakfast was just right for us, fruit and cereal, followed by a freshly cooked full English. Pauline is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. There are loads of DVD's and plenty to do and places to eat in the village, which... More

We stayed here for a single night in May as were were attending a 40th birthday in the local area. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We were even given a lift to our party destination so that we didn't have to get a taxi - above and beyond the... More
