This Hotel is located on a trading estate, next to the Selby by-pass,though I didn't experience any traffic noise. Checking in was speedy and I was changed from a twin room to a double at my request without any hassle by the very pleasant receptionist. The room, like reception, was tired looking and could do with updating and in my opinion a... More

Two night stay-1 evening meal Basic accommodation/ room cold/ food poor/ competitive price. If you're here on business its serviceable located alongside a busy road in an industrial estate. As a location for a family stay this certainly isn't

The hotel is acceptable to stay for 1 or 2 nights but it is not acceptable from my point of view that the guest has to create an account to get free Wi-Fi. Too complicating and after creating the account there were technical problems where the staff couldn't help. It was easy for the staff to tell me as a... More

we have just stayed overnight here and to be honest we weren't overly impressed. The room was okay but cold as the wind was blowing in through the double glazing. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was clean. But we went for breakfast and that's where they've lost us. Everything is set out for cereals and coffee etc... More

Brought the family and inlaws (5x adults, 3x children) for a New Years Eve meal. The 2-for-1 promotion wasn't on as it was New Years Eve, which we accepted, and assumed at full price we'd still get decent value for money. How wrong we were! The burgers were practically empty of the toppings quoted on the menu. The only pork... More

My fiancé and I stayed here last week as we were visiting family for the weekend. We checked in, upon receiving my key card I noted my surname spelt wrong. I didnt make an issue of this but found it bizarre as my name was clearly visible on their computer screen. When we arrived later in the evening to call... More

Room clean if a little worn. Staff helpful and friendly. Didn't use the restaurant but had a drink at the bar - reasonable prices. No problems parking. Only downside, the lift was broken so it was a bind dragging suitcases up and down 2 flights of stairs

Lovely staff but tired and poorly looked after hotel. Think downmarket travelodge without the upkeep. Uncomfortable bed in a room that was roasting hot, with windows open was flooded with the smell of frying from the nugget dispenser below.

Stayed at the wishing well for a business trip and plain and simply, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Arrival: Arrived at the hotel in the evening (approx 9pm) and the receptionist was super friendly and welcoming. She gave me my key and of I went to the room. Room: Simple enough, small bathroom with a bath... More
