Booked this for our honeymoon and I must say our stay here was beyond perfect. We booked their much hyped slide pool villa, and it definitely was worth the hype!! The resort is beautiful but the real quality arises from the service provided by the wonderful staff. The island is magical. From a great photo shoot session to a relaxing spa, all in all it was beyond expectations! The package included all meals and trust me the food was delicious and the menu was different everytime and the spread was never ending! I cannot recommend it enough.” This place is a must visit!!
I am little late to put the review but it’s ok last week I have been to Maldives. It’s the 2 best property in Maldives. Number is soneva jani .. but the experience of this resort is impeccable , fabulous. Must visit the place if you want luxury stay there . Staff were friendly . It’s a huge peppery.
I've visited Jumeirah Vittaveli when they introduced the Royal Residence which is $36,000 per night and can accommodate up to 10 people. Royal Residence was built on a secluded side of the main resort island equipped with its own arrival jetty, 2 swimming pools, a restaurant with personal chefs, a gym and an 8-seater Jacuzzi. It was a very short luxury speed boat ride from Male'. The speed boat was very comfortable with its sofa, free WiFi and bumpy-free ride. The Island is huge and the water villa design is very eye-caching. All the villas are very luxury and the facilities. Certainly, its a resort under Jumeirah Group. They have variety of dinning options to fall in love. What I do not like is, their staffs & the service. Staffs barely smile or greet. I have noticed they give priority for the high class guests which is terrible in hospitality industry. I believe this will be improved under new franchised brand Ozen. I do recommend the resort for families, couples and anyone who is specifically seeking privacy on accommodation.…
I was at Jumeirah Vittevali for their grand opening of their brand new villas. The resort was 20-minutes luxury yacht ride from Male' Airport and it was an absolute ride. No bumping on rough water, very comfortable sofa seats, free wifi... You would feel like you are in the sky. Once in the resort, their customer service is outstanding. Beautifully designed luxury villas, huge bathrooms, decent size of private pools, private villas if you are looking for privacy. Plenty of dinning options to dine-in. A huge gym with a nice instructor, award winning spa, plenty of water sports to select, certified dive center... I wish to go back again with my family soon in future.
The one star is because the resort put our life in danger and i don't trust them anymore. ITS NOT A KID FRIENDLY PLACE. Please don't go here with your kids atleast. When we were returning from the hotel to the airport we had the worst experience on their "luxury" boat. My little sibling was standing outside when the boat suddenly started shaking like crazy. After a minute we realised that he was standing outside so I ran out to get him to find him holding onto the railing petrified. The drivers did not understand english nor did they warn us about the waves or give us life jackets. We felt sick in our stomach, on my way back after getting him I fell from my seat, the glass jars on the table broke. We kept asking them what is going on and received no response and blank stares, its like they didn't understand us at all. I don't get how can they put all our lives in danger and especially the child who would have literally flown off into the water if we had not acted. The "5 star luxury" hotel refused to take any responsibility for our experience and this is why I won't be returning.…
