The infrastructure of the hotel is wonderful, and that is about it. We had read some poor reviews but went anyway and it was disappointing. The hotel is falling apart, sort of abandoned. A lot of broken things, especially outside, the tv made an awful noise, no lights in the hallways, only when you reached your door a faded light would turn on, no lights in the hotel front as well. The pool bar was not able to assist the guests and, since, as they explained, they were full, they were also not able not assist the guests. One night we requested some silverware and glasses and they had none. A very nice employee did his best to assist us and try to make up for the poor hotel administration. Out of the 3 days we stayed, 2 I had to call the front desk for cleaning, since it was almost 5 pm and no one had cleaned the rooms yet. Water was leaking from the shower. And the beach and surroundings are very dirty packed with garbage, the smell is not nice. I much recommend staying closer to the beach park. …
Third trip to Cumbuco on business. Stayed at Karari beach for three weeks. Nice clean modern 1 bedroom apartment suite on top floor with great ocean view and balcony overlooking the pools. A bit tired in the communal areas and in need of some TLC. Usual Ceara issues, no working internet in room, paper thin walls, elevator broken, no water on last day, and in the rainy season place leaks like an old boat, but otherwise OK. Have stayed in worst places in Cumbuco and for a Benjamin a night not bad.
Steve is the International Chef... he is absolutely fantastic. The food is just the best we can get in Fortaleza. The hotel is very new and offers all that a ghest wants. I strongly recommend it for all kinds of tourism :)
This hotel has no atmosphere! The pool looks nice but the whole area is stone tiled so hardly anybody sits around the pool as its not nice at all. the breakfast area is horible. A sterile airconditioned room. More a hall. We wanted to stay there but ended up in an appartment next door and had breakfast there every day as part of the deal. thats why I know you should avoid this hotel.
Rats everywhere ! Mimicks a Motel, dirty hands handling food, pool made my hair go green. !! Sofas in rooms sweaty and smelly from previous guests . Disaster. Much better stay in a hotel on the other side of the village
