Stayed at the end of August for 4 nights , the hotel is joined with Oddessy hotel , we upgraded our room slightly at a small cost before arriving, the room was was lovely and clean and we always had fresh towels daily and must have been recently renovated as it had a new bathroom, could not fault the room just the balcony was a little bit small. Breakfast was set out so you could just help yourself and had enough choice to help you start your day, if you needed to park you could park opposite the hotel or there was a car park 200 yards down the road right next to the beach so it made it an easy stroll to the beach. All the staff were lovely and welcoming and answered any questions we had and had a small pool bar that served drinks and snacks during the day , it was the perfect base to do our travelling around the island we only stayed around the pool on our last day which was clean and well maintained,my partner said she preferred the hotel to our 5 star we stayed at in Mexico, if we return to Santorini we would definitely stay here again

We have just returned from staying at Iliada Studios and would not hesitate to recommend the apartments to anyone visiting Perivolos. We stayed in a ground floor apartment which suited us as it meant we were only 30 seconds away from both swimming pools. During the day we generally spent most of our time around the pool with the bar as that had music. Although the rooms are basic, they have everything you need including a fridge, kettle and hairdryer, as well as little toiletries in the shower. The room was cleaned every day with the floors mopped, beds made and new towels provided which was fantastic. On our last day we were struggling to get hold of our transfers but reception told us to leave it with them and go back to the pool to enjoy the sun. In no time at all they had arranged for our pick up, taking all the hassle away. We cannot thank the staff enough as every single person was always on hand and gave great service, however a special thank you has to go to Maria and Yanis who made us feel so welcome and made our stay a great experience. From helping to order us a take away when we had returned late from an excursion (glass bottom boat arranged at reception- would recommend), to making sure we never went thirsty round the pool. The apartments themselves are situated within a few minutes of the beach at Perivolos where there are lots of beach bars/restaurants, water sports and the bus stop to take you to Fira and Oia. Perissa is also only about 20 minutes walk. In the opposite direction there is also a Euromarket. Thank you to everyone at the Iliada for making our first visit to Santorini so amazing. If we return to the island we will definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Iliada hotel. 2min walk from the black sandy beach. The staff were ever so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Maria on reception and Maria at the poolside bar always happy to chat and helpful. And yanis was kind and helpful too if you had any questions or Queries. We had an excellent stay, rooms were clean and lovely open space with a balcony. The staff helped book us a boat tour and any taxis if you needed them. Breakfast was continental and was nice. Great selection of restaurants across the beach to visit for dinner. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting back again soon

Stayed here the last week in October. Excellent base to travel this beautiful island from. Staff friendly, facilities good, and very close to the beach. Watch your head if you get one of the upper apartments, but you'll get used to that quirkiness!

We found a deal for beginning of October for 10 days, so decided to visit Santorini a first time. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised from the hotel, rooms, patio in front of each room, and of course, the beach, and all the restaurants we've got on the beach. Rooms, quite bigger than I expected, king size bed, enough for not 2 but 3 people, and very comfortable. There was helpfull notes printed out and left for us, including that the water is not drinkable, but I learnt that in the hard way, as we arrived late, I just toped up my waterbottle, but with first sip I found that the water is salty :D The patio was really nice, we were having our morning coffee there, there was table and 2 comfy chairs. As others mentioned, there was only 2 cups, 2 glasses and 1 spoon, but when we bought a waremellon from the shop they borowed us a knife, so anything you need you can ask, all the staff was verry helpfull. As we were waking up not so early, and having a coffee on the patio, then leaving for the beach the maid that were cleaning the rooms, were doing all rooms around ours and leaving ours last, so not disturb us, when we are still there, very polite woman, so not sure why some of the previous reviews are saying they are not talking or smiling, the woman did say good morning with a smile every time passing around. We didnt use the pools, as the beach was literally 2 mins walk, its black sandy beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, so we were happy to sunbathing there. The pools looked good, clean. On the beach, we found so many restaurants, and big choice of food. Although it was beginning of October, and the season was ending, we still had plenty of restaurants to choose from. It wasn't crowded, so we could find place to eat or drink easily. As we like to walk, on the beach aley its about an hour to Perissa, but there are busses as well, stopping 1 min from the hotel, they are going to Thira as well. So overall really nice experience with the hotel and location

I and my partner stayed here through love holidays at the end of October. It is a two star hotel so we didn’t really expect much. The first room we were offered was a cave room and the bedroom was upstairs and bathroom downstairs which we don’t really like but the receptionist was kind enough to change our rooms. The bed was really hard and we complained about it all through but we were told that the hotel had the same beds. My partner tried the breakfast one of the mornings for €10 he said it was awful, cold and some stuffs were bad which put me off even trying breakfast at the hotel. Pros is the hotel is 2 mins walk to the beach, the pool we couldn’t use it as it was cold maybe due to the time we visited. I mean u get what You pay for so don’t expect too much. The staff listened to us and changed our rooms to a much better one, some bathrooms were modern and some outdated, cleaners come each money for supplies and bedsheets get changed every 3 days I believe. But overall it was really quiet which we liked as end of the season I just wish their beds were a bit comfortable.

We stayed here for 5 nights for my birthday in Santorini. The hotel location is great! It is a 1 minute walk to the beach one direction and a bus stop 1 minute in the other direction. Perissa is around a 20 minute walk by the beach which is more touristy than Perivolos with more bars and restaurants. Fira and oia are 20 minutes and 45 minutes ISH drive on a quad bike respectively. The local supermarket is about 10-15 minutes walk away and there was a fridge in my room to keep things like fresh fruit, water, milk, butter etc in. The room itself is basic with a bed, balcony, fridge, shower, sinks and a toilet. The bed is not the comfiest but was fine for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful in any questions and requests. They assisted in us booking a quad bike and they provided free parking outside the hotel. My sister contacted the hotel to organise some prosecco and a fruit basket. The member of staff she spoke to also said they would provide a cake too (which was delicious)! Both pools are a good size and over all we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Iliada! Thanks!

The hotel is a minute walk to the beach in one direction and to the bus stop in the other making the location great. The facilities are all nice and modern with decent showers, pool and bar. The rooms were simple but exactly what we were after given we were out exploring most of the time. You don’t get the views of the likes of oia but you also don’t have the price tag. Staff were very helpful with booking us a tour, getting extra pillows, etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and in perivolos is it quieter and less touristy then perissa which was nice. The busses make it easy to visit all the other parts of the island.

Perfect stay. Right next to the beach, family friendly and the staff are superb and helpful. Rooms are lovely and clean. Pool is easily accessible and the mini fridge offers drinks all day. Round the corner from a supermarket and a 2 min walk to the beach and restaurants along perivolos and a short walk up to perissa. High recommended, great value and would stay again. Thank you
