We are not casual visitors of resort style hotels but this hotel reminds me why is so. 1. Despite the reaction of hotel itself about language expertise I had difficulty to get somene to understand me except reception. I ended up waiting and carefuly lookin at the bar when the one that atleast understands english shows up.. and being ignored several times. i definitely do not recommed visiting when you do not know italian.. It will literaly destroy your experience 2. I bought this reservation with all inclusive package because I didnt want to walk around trying to find best place to eat with my pregnant wife. But waiting 25minutes for 2dc of coca cola here in peaks was far away from insane. not saying about time limitations of they called all inclusive package. When you have to pay for everything after 9pm - 3.2e for 2dc not properly filled beer. Tap water Is not drinkable according instructions and they will not provide bottles of water after you drink the one we found in the room. So basicaly at night you can go 300m for closest bar to have fresh water or fill your own bottle during day which is against rules. We love italian cuisine and we are visiting Italy atleast twice a year but I would say it was below average. 3. Everywhere you can find information about how ECO they are trying to be. Which from my perspective is only when it saves operational expenses, like cheapest toilet paper etc :). When you want to be ecological start with waste separation at least oh my god. Every drink is served in 2dc plastic cup.. because lack of english i was not able to get bigger cup so we as many other guests ended up with requesting multiple counts of drink.. because of insane waiting times Ive seen people taking like 20beverages served in plastic cups. And of then mixed with the rest of the waste. But for sure location is beautiful :)

Response from Bluserena SPA, Altro at Serenusa Village
Responded Aug 19, 2022
Dear Guest, we regret to read that the stay was not up to your expectations, however we express our point of view. Within each department there are English speaking staff. At "peak" times when most of the Guests are present in the restaurant, it can happen to wait a few minutes to be served, but the waiting times are never excessive. Our staff monitors these times and does everything possible to minimize them. As clearly indicated on our website, catalogue, price lists and conditions of stay attached to estimates and confirmations, the Extra Formula includes basic cocktails (chosen from specific menus) from 17:30 to 19:30. Excluded are other cocktails (or requested at other times), champagne and spirits defined special on the bar list. The Extra Formula is the result of various organizational and commercial balances, and is appreciated by our customers. With a view to total transparency, the Bar price list, in addition to being displayed on site, is published online in Bluserena GO. Prices are online, and often lower, than those charged by our competitors. For obvious reasons of hygiene, we always ask our guests the courtesy not to fill the bottles directly from the dispenser. Our restaurant provides show cooking and a rich, varied and quality buffet, whose menu is also available online. The many years of experience of our Chefs and the raw materials of undoubted quality guarantee that the dishes proposed are excellent. In the season 2022 the vote Catering detected through the "Pagelline" compiled in writing by our guests was equal to 8.3 out of 10. In any case, the opinion of our Guests is fundamental for us to motivate us to do better and every report is taken care of by the department of competence. By business choice, as clearly indicated on our website, catalog, price lists and conditions of stay attached to estimates and confirmations, in the main bars, drinks are served in glasses 20 cl. We hope to have you again our guest, certain of being able to improve your judgment. Best regards, The Serenusa Village Management.

Perché 2 stelle nonostante i punti positivi sopracitati: 1. Non dovrebbe esser difficile : get to the point and be clear. 3. Allora non chiamatelo ALL inclusive. 7. Very beautiful exteriors, cared for and designed for children. Impeccable room cleaning. Staff responsible for housekeeping available and always with a smile. Restaurant: we were 13 people and all of them confirm that the food is great. Why 2 stars despite the positive points mentioned above: 1. Rooms cannot be classified as 4-star hotels, old and in need of renovation. 2. Reception: lack of empathy in the staff. An extra smile should never hurt. To be improved: explanations given during check in. Get to the point and be clear. 3. Activities: bad experience for the archery tournament. The responsible person, arrogant, unprofessional and without any organization. List of 35 people: when asked, how is the tournament run? answer: I don't know, I call at random !!! Whaaaat? 4. If you don't speak Italian, go to another place. 5. Car Rental: Far from being a 4 star. It does not reflect at all what the structure would like to be. 6. You think you have an All inclusive, but that's not the case. Then don't call it ALL inclusive. 7. Packed lunch ordered 2 days before departure. 11:15 at Reception… at 12:00 it was not ready… .and instead of finding a quick solution they created Chaos, disappointment in the management of the problem and left 13 people (including children) with bad memories.

Response from Bluserena SPA, Altro at Serenusa Village
Responded Aug 10, 2022
Inoltre, all'interno di tutti i nostri reparti è presente personale parlante lingua inglese. Cordiali Saluti, La Direzione Serenusa Village.

Nice room with an excellent room service. Cleaned everyday . Food is average but you can always find something good. During lunch, an ice cream is served too. Beach is beautiful. Pools are children friendly with adequate depth. There are several activities like archery, hand gun shooting (hello to Mateo and Daniele), tennis and football courts and several types of boats to hire. We were on Pedalo which was fun. Main evening program is in Italian so if you don't speak Italian you can skip it except for Alice performance which was great. Kids disco is great and our children were loving it. In the sea there are jellyfishes but there were not a single incident during our stay and somehow they are not coming to the area marked by buoys. Overall very good stay.

We just left the hotel a week ago. We were two families with 2x children’s. The hotel looks pleasant, however the location of the hotel is more in the south of Sicily were most interaction located on the north. We were advised not to drive by car to the north. The road are very narrow and ruthless conditions with a lot of garbage nearby. For instance, it would take 5 hours to drive by car to Palermo! The tourist guiding warned us that there are a lot of stolen car incident and extra insurance is necessary. So we skip the option to move out of hotel. The hotel very crowded (1700 residents), mostly local tourist (Italian) with a large number of children’s and too noisy. The food is poor in comparable to four stars hotel, but its eatable! The services seem to be good, but its only suitable for local tourist (Italian language), but not for foreign tourist. All programs and activates only in Italian, and very few workers who can understand English. I tired to engage on beach volleyball as activities. The program written only in Italy. After consultations with several animators, I had to register my name first and schedule a gaming term as there are only two gaming terms per week! Ones I arrived, the animator who is in charge was different and somehow my name was missing so I was unable to engage on the beach volleyball! The hotel beach looks wonderful, but the sea is full of large jellyfish! Many people were sting from those large jellyfish only the lucky one who can skip from them or swim at the swimming pool which is fully crowded ! I tried to remove one of large Jellyfish on the beach which sting someone on his face, but the hotel security run after me and reminded me to not to do so and returned back the Jellyfish to the beach! In term of security, you need to be carefully, I lost my T-shirt at the beach were my wife sunglasses missing! In conclusion, if you are a foreign tourist who is looking for rest and relaxing holiday, I do not recommend you!

This is our third time visiting as it always proved to be amazing all the way. Villagio is kept meticulously clean and is a perfect haven for families with young children. The animation team is at all times active and ready to entertain throughout the day. They are all very professional, friendly, hard workers who manage to deliver service with a smile :) Big thanks also goes to all the kitchen staff, all the chefs (both at the main restaurant and Il Gusto restaurant which is situated a stone throw away from the sea). They are all super with delivering an excellent service. Special thanks also goes to the Head waiter of Il Gusto restaurant who always made our cuisine experience a special one! :) :) Great appreciation also goes to all the staff (at the main bar, the life guards at the pool, maids, cleaners, maintenance etc) Thanks for making our stay a positive experience once again. Un gran abraccio da Malta!! Denise, Jurgen and our 2 boys :))

We have just returned from our week in Serenusa village. It was a great time and we strongly recommend it for families with kids. It is a paradise for children. Fabulous entertainment for little ones with huge range of activities to choose from, based on personal interest. My 9 years old son who is crazy about soccer, had a practice every day from 11:30 to 12:30 with a super nice trainer named Nicolo. There was no issue with the communication even though my son speaks no Italian and just a little English. Me and my husband tried windsurfing but the wind not always allowed to do the practice. Food was outstanding and diverse! A lot of seafood and fish everyday. We've been visiting Italy once a year for the past 5 years and we have always great culinary experience, but so far it was the best! One of the strongest points of the Serenusa Village are the people who work there. Gentle, nice, charming, helpful and full of patience. Saluti per Filippo. I mentioned that Serenusa is suited for family with kids because you need to expect some noise that will no bother those with their own kids. Look out for notices on the board next to the pool, because you can learn what is planned for the evening. If you don't understand Italian and want to skip the shows at the amphitheater don't go to far. After the shows, at 11 pm there is always something going on like disco, beach party or other entertainment. Those who know how to take advantage of siesta will still have energy to stay up that long. For us, east Europeans it was kind of hard to stay up that long and enjoy the parties but we were doing progress and by the end we stayed til midnight. It is great to take a public bus and visit Licata- charming town just few miles from Serenusa. We strongly recommend Serenusa Village!

I have just stayed here for a week with my uncle from Tuscany and had a great time. There is lots to do (swimming, football, archery, volleyball, gymnastics, singing, poker, lawn bowls) although we were fully inclusive we had to pay €73 extra to play any sport. It has two swimming pools for lounging around in and doing water gymnastics and a 4 lane pool for just swimming. The beach is a very short walk and has it’s own bar and restaurant, which needs booking in advance. I found most staff to be very friendly and helpful and very positive about you having a good time. I would definitely return one day 🌞🏖🇮🇹😊
