We have been to the RD twice and love it. Both times were for two week stays. We pay about $1800.00C flying out of Calgary per person for two weeks. You can sometimes get two weeks for $1400.00C as a last minute booking, but I need to book my holidays in advance so I can't risk this. Anyways we are...

My fiancee and I I just arrived home this morning from our stay at RD. Only if Ricardo Montalban and Tatoo themselves, would have greeted us at the front check-in, could we have had a more wonderful time. Fantasy Island!! The photos do not serve this hotel justice. We stayed in bldg 5, which has an adult only pool. It...

We recently stayed at Royal; Decameron for 8 days. It was beautiful. There were plenty of activities. The people were friendly and helpful. Great value for the money. Glad we read some reviews before going. We brought our own insulated cups, as we soon discovered many others also did. The shows were really good. Didn't care for the disco...more for...

Stayed at the Royal Decameron in Puerto Vallarta in mid april of 06. The location is about 25 min from the airport and 30-35 min from center of Puerto Vallarta, so you need to take a taxi or take the bus. Taxis are on a zone system during weekdays, but outside of that you need to negotiate. Average was 20-30...

Can't say enough about this place. Our son was married there April 19/2006, everything was so organized, Luciano is THE man. There were 46 of us, ages 3-70 something and something for everyone. The people are super friendly and helpful. The a-la-cartes especially the jap-jap and italian are good but the buffets always had enough variety to keep us all...

I went for a seven day, seven night stay at the Royal Decameron with four of my girlfriends. I cannot stress how much we loved it. For the price, it was fantastic. We expected something less than great because of the low price, but we were happily proved wrong. The staff are friendly, accomodating and very hard working. The hotel...

My husband and I just returned from a one week stay ( April 24-May1) at Royal Decameron. Travel from the airport was a breeze. It is a 20 minute ride. Check in was a breeze, it took all of 10 minutes. We stayed in building 5, room 5208. The rooms are by no means luxurious, but they are efficient. The...

We got to the resort at 10:00 AM Saturday. We could not get into our rooms until 3:00, but we had access to the whole resort while waiting. We traveled with friends and when we got our room assignments they were in different buildings. We were in #2 and they were in #6. We requested a change to be closer...

I have read some negative reviews on this hotel and I am quite certain those people must have been at a different resort! We had an absolutely wonderful time.
