Stayed 2 weeks, on a recommendation. Good value for money. Grounds are like tropical gardens. 5 large swimming pools; additional pools are ornamental. Beach a bit rough some days. Free catamaran rides and use of kayaks & boogie boards, plus bicycles. Buffets, snack bars & a la cartes offer good variety; not gourmet, but very nice. Pay attention to opening...

After paying 6 1/2 months in advance for two weeks at Royal Decameron we arrived after two days of travel to be told they had overbooked and we couldn't stay there. We did not like where we were relocated to and actually came home. This was a huge rip off and disappointment. The Royal Decameron obviously does not care once...

We were at the Royal Decameron for two weeks in January, 2007. We had read many reviews on this site and appreciated the advice about bringing insulated coffee mugs - they were very useful. We had one week of sun, and one of rain and overcast skies. We felt that two weeks was too long, but one week was too...

Enjoyed this two week break. Sea a bit choppy as you can see from the photos but nice clean beaches. Best place and cheapest to learn to do your PADI if interested (Around £200). Great instructors through www.vallarta-adventures.com taking you to Caletas and Marietas Island for your Open Water Dives. Food fine and pletty of it. Everything clean and to...

We had the most awesome family vacation at the Royal DeCameron in Mexico. We were there from Dec 23rd to Dec 30th. This was our first Christmas away so we celebrated it with a full body massage on the beach. What a way to spend Christmas Day. The hotel was just perfect. Just like everyone said it was. Thanks. Just returned from RDC and first of all I want to thank everyone who posted positive reviews, because they're a big factor for me in choosing a resort. When there are only one or two negative reviews amongst so many great ones - I have to believe that some people enjoy being critical or have unrealistic expectations. We were there...

We stayed at this complex with another couple from January 13 to 27, 2007 on the recommendation of a travel agent. This place is not a 4 star or even a 3 star. it is a 2 star at best. We were in block 6 a long ways from the beach. The rooms are not all inclusive. Better bring your...

Thanks to everyone that sent in your comments. It was great to have information before hand. We stayed one week from Jan 13 to Jan 20 and although we asked to be in block 5 or 6 we ended up in block 2 and were really happy with where we stayed. It was relatively quite and we got to see...
