Upon arrival, we were greeted in the most friendly and kind manner and guided indoors. It was ensured that we were relaxed after our travel, and that we had everything we needed to cater to our infant. Check-in was a breeze. Due to a recent large storm, a tree had fallen next to the cottage we had booked (The Pines)...

We spent a super relaxed evening in the beautiful Harakeke suite. The wood burning stove was very cosy, the room was beautifully furnished and there were loads of cool homey touches including lovely toiletries in the newly refurbished bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic and they catered for my wheat allergy. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer and make...

We celebrated our anniversary by treating ourselves to a weekend away. My spouse likes privacy and this is a top spot for that. The Pines, a small cottage, 50 meters or so from the main dwelling. Set in a rural setting surrounded by country gardens and trees. The cottage is fully self contained with supplies for cooking one's breakfast and...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in the Pines self contained cottage at the Otahuna Country House near Featherston from 15 October 2011. The cottage is a very cosy place to stay. It is very modern inside, spotlessly clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable with quality linen and the kitchen and bathroom are both fully...

Fabulous experience and highly recommended. Loved having the cosy fireplace in the bedroom going when we arrived at night. Farm fresh breakfast was great and the coffee was awesome. We really enjoyed exploring the property the next morning and seeing all the animals. We were very grateful to our hosts for going out of their way for us. They went...

The service is exceptional! Mary, Paul, Tricia, and Tim are such wonderful hosts. The rooms are very clean and decorated in a very classic and comfortable way. The en-suite bathroom was squeaky clean. The towels were warm and soft. The bed was very comfortable. My partner and I slept better than we had in a long time. The library, lounge,...
