We could not beleive that this is rated 2 star. Fantastic people, very friendly, nice rooms, great breakfast. Overall more than what we expected at the price. It is a little walk from the lifts and town but not at all a problem. Looking forward to visiting again.

Altought the hotel is rated only 2 stars it's actually very beautiful, comfortable, clean and the owner very frendly. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Absolutely a must if you pass in town.

Driving from Italy to France, we stopped here for the night. It was an excellently appointed room for the low star rating and the breakfast, though continental, was really good. At the price, really good value for money.

Not sure how the star rating works in Italy, but this was much nicer than expected from a 2 star hotel. Friendly welcome, lovely clean and spacious bedroom with a large and comfortable bed, super shower room and lots of rustic touches. The new spa was very welcome with a large Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna. Although this was an... More

Lovely hotel in a great location in La Thuile. Easy access to and from the slopes. Very freindly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast of cereal, bread, yoghurt, jams etc.Great coffee too. The owner Teresa and her family and staff work hard and the place is a credit to them. Teresa provided us with restaurant suggestions and even telephone to book... More

This is exactly the type of hotel I look for when off for a weekend. Rooms (we stayed in a new one) was really comfy. They have a sauna and hammam for the après ski (ask for it in the morning). Breakfast is good. The owner (a spirited Italian lady) has all the best addresses for restaurants in the town.

I travelled with my 7yr old child and 82 yr father and they were both very comfortable in this hotel. The owners were friendly and very helpful. When we were there, there was some building works being done to the hotel, which the owner told be would be completed by December 2014. Lovely location for walks in the countryside. The... More

I have been both in summer and winter over the year. I believe the Hotel Martinet has an unrivaled location, friendly staff and the best value-for-money proposition in the valley. In particular, in winter you can ski up to the hotel door. [EM]

Small, clean and fiendly. The lady who conducts this small mountain garni hotel is miles above the average enterpreneurial capacity of this valley people. I spend week ends in this hotel with my husband and my doughter. Close to the skying facilities it is ideal for people looking for a good stay in a skying resort. Rooms are ok, breakfast... More
