let's start with the annoying thing: if you are a skier, the slopes are not right there at the hotel' s door. there is a 5-7m car ride to take and to park in front of the ski-lift the cost is 9eur per day. It is probably cheaper or free to park less conveniently. other than that, the hotel is...

Was greeted by the owner of the Hotel with a shandy beer after a long day on the bike. The bedroom was spacious with stunning views from balcony over the town and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was hard to beat for a cyclist - continental breakfast and more - scrambled eggs, breads top ups of coffee, juices, meats etc....

We had a lovely welcome from the owner who offered us coffee which we had on the terrace. Very comfortable room with good wifi. Beautiful views looking over La Thuile from our balcony. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Nothing was too much trouble.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in beginning March. The location is spot on, you can walk to either the bottom of the ski slopes or the 'old town'. We had breakfast included in our stay and the landlady is very friendly and welcoming. She basically offers what she has but there are always pastries and cheese along...

There are many things to appreciate in this small hotel: the beds are comfortable and the rooms very clean; breakfast comes with fresh fruit, yogourt, a variety of cereals, cheese, meat, bread, croissant, good coffee - in a nutshell, it is plentiful; the owner/manager is friendly and wants the guest to enjoy their stay. One negative item maybe is the...

The owner was trying to converse with us all the time, but in doing so, it was more like she was telling us what to do and then enforcing regulations. Morning, afternoon, night you were worried when you bumped into her as you did not know which character you were going to get. A very bizarre woman with clear issues...

I was there for five nights with 2 friends in another room. We were all impressed by the service and accommodation. The breakfast was as much cereal, ham, cheese, beverages etc as you can eat. Dinner is not available but there are good restaurants a short walk away (I preferred La Tata). Nice lounge, friendly elderly dog, roaring stove etc....

We spent two nights here to visit friends in a nearby hotel of a higher standing. It was cheaper with a better breakfast, a comfortable room with glorious views with personal service from the owner. Although a bit of a walk to the slopes a 1/2 hourly bus service is close. Some really good restaurants are also close by!

Three of us stayed here for 5 nights, Sigrun looked after us as if we were family, anything we asked about she tried to accommodate, we weren't very demanding, unlike others there at the same time. It's a 2 star hotel, so don't expect 4 star facilities, with staff hovering around waiting on your every whim, there's really only Sigrun....

My husband and I had an awesome and very relaxing 5 day stay at the hotel Rolland in January 2015. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Bedclothes and towels were really clean which is very important to me. Breakfast was GREAT with homemade bread, tasty cheese, croissants, jams and lots of coffee (which is important to my husband)....
