Arranged an 8 man skiing trip to Italy, and was recommend the Chateau Blanc. At 600m from the Gondola to the slopes and less than that to some great restaurants the location is perfect. The staff in the hotel, the cosiness of the building and the rooms, great breakfast in the AM and drinks service in the PM, made CB... More

This is a great hotel for couples and small families, not large groups, as the shared facilities are small. But the building is an old stone house and every inch of the place is quaint and comfy. Very authentic. The staff will take good care of you, especially the gentleman at the bar/restaurant who is superman with a ready smile... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early Feb and had a great time. The place has been recently refurbished but has a lovely warm authentic feel coupled with all the modern mod-cons. Plenty of attention to detail with candles lighting the lobby and that rustic look you would want from a warm cabin type hotel. The staff were very... More

With this the third visit to La Thuile to ski over the span of 15 years, it was time to stay somewhere new. In the past we opted for the convenient Planibel Hotel and Residences at the base of Les Suches Funivie, the gondola to the slopes. Chateau Blanc is a short walk or car ride away and offers an... Difficult to find as not well marked. Lovely entrance and communal areas but bedrooms small. We were a bit chilly sometimes and there is no adjustable heating or anywhere to dry wet stuff or warm bath towels. Rooms clean. Staff very friendly and helpful despite language barriers. Good ski locker with heated boot rack. Good continental breakfast range with efficient... More

Friendly staff. Really nice room - but we did have the superior type. Standard rooms looked a bit small. Breakfast standard Italian fare cold meats and cereals. You'll get filter coffee if you ask for an Americano! Parking right outside and a short walk to the slopes and the centra citta.

We have used this hotel for a group (19 people) skiing trip for the last 2 years. Rooms are well decorated with a nice warm feel-slightly on the small side but manageable. The staff have always been very helpful and pleasant despite some language difficulties. They booked different restaurants for us for each night of our stay and all proved... More

We booked this hotel without having read the accounts on Trip Advisor first. When we did read them, we were concerned that we would be met by indifferent and rude Italian staff, which could not have been further from the truth and we felt compelled to share our experience. Granted, their English is poor (but better than our Italian -... More

After all it was pretty nice, although it begun quite badly. We arrived in a snowstorm, and had hard time to find the premises as it is marked poorly. As it was during the day, signs were not lighted. After we got our room, we realized we have to drag our luggage for about 50 meters in a narrow pass... More

Hotel with nice rooms, let down by an indifferent staff with absolutely no idea of what hospitality is or should be. A disappointment all around as hotel is in a good location between ski lift and village but if anything other than a bed is required (such as service) you can forget about it. A large proportion of guests during... More
