I recently stayed at the Pirates Hideaway in Salt Cay. The owner Candy was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the history of Salt Cay. When I arrived at the airport I was met by Candy in a golf cart. I stayed in the Hummingbird Room which was very spacious. The room has an entrance to the swimming pool and...

We just stayed at Pirate's Hideaway and enjoyed ourselves! The room was huge and I couldn't believe how big the kitchen was! The only thing that would have made this 5 stars was that the pool was being repaired while we were there (we did travel in the off season) and it would have been nice to spend one day...

We only stayed on Salt Cay for a couple of nights, but made the best choice staying at the Pirate's Hideaway! The owner Candy was so sweet, driving us around in her little golf cart whenever we needed to go somewhere that was too far for walking and even bought us a few staples at the shop for her self-catering...

My sweet husband booked a vacation for us to celebrate my birthday, and we had a lovely time. Salt Cay is easy to get to and impossible to forget. Just enchanting! Candy met us at the airport, and there the charming adventure began. She took us to the pristine beach on the North shore, pointing out Bay Tansy - a...

Just back from a week on salt cay with my family - had one of the happiest & most fun times we've had together - pirates hideaway & candy & salt cay & the people there (locals, expats, & tourists & donkeys) are wonderful. This island is not for everyone - if you're looking for a resort this is not...

Couldn't have been a better vacation within a vacation unless we had spotted the whale that others had. But we did see and photograph flamingos with Candy's help. What delicious cakes Jean made and shared with us. thank you for going out of your way to make us comfortable

We can't wait to return to this gem of a place! Just two ladies, a red buggy, a birthday to celebrate, Candy's map of the island and we just had the best time ever. Living on Provo means that we too, just have to get away from time to time. I met with Candy who happened unfortunately to be on...

My friend and I stayed 5 nights in this beautiful home. It truly is nicer than a hotel. There are lovely bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms with a huge porch. The owner let's you use the pool connected to her house which is right next store. Candy is a delight to rent from. She is also the greatest historian of Salt...

I spent a week at the "Pirate's Hidaway". Our group of seven rented "Blackbeard's Quarters" and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The listing description and photos are accurate and thorough. The only thing ambiguous is the location - the homes are located in the "Southwest district" of the island, maybe 100 yards from the sea. It's a convenient location with easy...

A group of us spent the week from 22 Feb to 2 Mar at Pirates Hideaway in the house with four bedrooms and 2 baths. it was excellent. We had bicycles to use which is really all you need on the island. If only we had enough for everyone, but other than that the place was perfect. Neat and clean,...
