Not sure where to start! So I’ll start from the very beginning… our room rate included a 15 min flight from Providenciales to South Caicos which Sailrock booked and coordinated for us. What a cool experience! A tiny plane with 12-15 rows max, half empty. We watched the pilot the whole way over pristine blue waters. After landing in their old airport (wasn’t much other than a warehouse, the brand new airport nextdoor was up and running when we left!!) , Francis was there with waters to drive us to the hotel. The ride was about 15 minutes on an unpaved sandy road. It felt very remote without much around other than some salt pools. We were greeted by Harvey and given an introduction to the property as well as a welcome drink. Check in was a breeze - we sat on a couch sipping a coconut cocktail staring at the blue water while our own personal attendant checked us in. No waiting, she was waiting for us upon arrival to the great house. We were then given a private tour of the property amenities and our room. That night was bonfire night so dinner was being served on the beach. The sunset was absolutely magical that evening. Everyone was amazing at the property, but the people who stood out most were 1) Juni - she works in the shop and knew our names from the very first introduction (a particularly hard last name at that, and she nailed it every time!) she knew our 6 day itinerary by heart (amazing) and was so kind the entire trip.. I was amazed at how we’d casually run into Juni or Putra and they would effortlessly prepare us for our next day of activities, without any of it feeling planned, rehearsed or forced; yet they always got us all the information we needed without formalities like checking-in or having to call ahead of time 2) Putra - he helped to coordinate some special anniversary activities for my husband and I. After our private boat/snorkel trip with Captain Tim (a must), he whisked our conch shells away to be cleaned and wrapped so we could take them home 3) Driver Francis - he was on the quiet side but when we told him we hadn’t seen flamingos yet he made it his personal mission for us to see them… Overall, the property is quietly decorated, there are no flashy, over the top, or gaudy structures or materials on site. It’s pretty minimalistic with calming and natural tones. We never saw the spa as the couples massage and mani/pedi were done in the room. This was a nice touch, although I do prefer a pedi in a massage chair with my feet in water. There is the main great house where most of the rooms are, which is where breakfast and dinner are often served. In the same general area is the gym and shop, as well as the bike rental. The shop has snacks, drinks, small necessities and some great souvenirs. It’s a 5-7 min walk to the beach where lunch is served, really not a bad walk at all, but you can also take a ride on a golf cart/ atv if you prefer it. Down at the beach, they’ve got paddle boards, clear kayaks, regular kayaks, and the hobie cats for sailing. They also have hammocks (ah maze ing, not sure why all beach resorts don’t have them) and these floating water beds that are tied into the ocean floor. These are incredible for relaxing and fit 2-4 people. Pros: - On the most crowded night, we counted 14 couples and one family. There were many times where we felt like the only ones on property. We never saw one other person on the beach path. You never have to fight over a chair or ocean toy, and no reservations required. It’s an easy way of life :) - $40 breakfast credit was great. Covered it everyday for us. - you feel safe to leave your belongings out on the beach, but no money or cards needed at any time, all charges go to the room - very causal, no dress code any where on the resort. I felt as I could do whatever I wanted as far as dress goes - dress up one night and bathing suit with cover up the next, so very easy - we didn’t ask for much out of the norm while there, but got the feeling they would go above and beyond with any request - will draw your bubble hot tub bath upon request - beds had two types of pillows - fluffy and then a flatter one(better for your neck!) which I loved because my husband likes the fluffy and I like the flat - room equipped with an empty fridge, sink, microwave and nespresso machine with new pods everyday - housekeeping comes twice a day if you want it - gym was great and often empty - they had a healthy menu that was the same every day/night. Loved having that option! Mixed salads and tuna salad were so yummy - food was generally pretty good! Not the best I’ve ever had but with limited resources I was impressed Cons - there isn’t a ton to do on the island, it is quiet. We knew this would be a relaxing vacation for us so it wasn’t an issue - We biked to town for some groceries and it was very limited as far as selection goes. The menu changed every night at sailrock, but if you don’t pay for sailrock to drive you to another location (there’s only a few other restaurants on the island) then your options are the on-site menu or you can make peanut butter and jelly or tuna fish sandwiches from the grocery store :) honestly, it suited us just fine. - Beware the bike trip to town is about 6 miles each way on a mostly unpaved road with old beach cruisers - they will warn you but we insisted. It was fun but definitely a sweaty trip! - breakfast hours should be 7-10 not 6:30-9:30 (too early if you are trying to get a workout in before eating) - the property is unfinished - they have open fields intended for tennis courts and a garden. Those will be great additions when done! I’ve got more to say but I’ve grown tired LOL I definitely recommend sailrock and will be back!

We so enjoyed our trip to Sailrock Resort. Our vacation was everything we hoped for and more! We loved the location - pristine, not crowded, spacious, and quiet with no other hotel in the vicinity. The staff was extremely customer service oriented and always happy!!! We felt like valued guests every moment of every day. There was a great mixture of local Turks Islanders and Expats on the team. Carvison, the Chef at the Great House, personally assisted us in ensuring the restaurant team addressed our food allergies at every meal. It was so great to experience different, lovingly prepared foods without getting sick! And the venues (Cove Bar and the Great House dining room) and varied menu was fabulous! The housekeeping team visited 2-3x a day ensuring we were well cared for. They were extraordinary. The hotel was very clean and sanitized. The rooms were very comfortable. We received a painless covid test at the end of our stay right there at the hotel. So easy! The beaches are beautiful and the toys were free to use (such as kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles, hobie cat, beach chairs, and beach towels). There are many places to explore. And the local, harmless wild donkeys were a special treat to watch. All we wanted to do was relax and that is exactly what we got! Really splendid boutique hotel. Highly recommend!!!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The flight over was stunning. We were welcomed with open arms by Harvey with a smile we won't forget. Upon arrival, we were greeted by more warm and smiling staff. Our room was gorgeous and cleaned to perfection every day. The food was outstanding. The view of the ocean and the beach area is stunning. Something you can not miss is the snorkeling and Kayaking adventures. Our butler Monhu (Mon), cared for us the entire stay. He is an exceptional human being. The whole staff was kind and friendly, with huge smiles. To name a few, Mo, Putra, Tikiera Ben, and Captain Tim. We want to thank many more staff, but we don't have their names. This property is a unique, special, one-of-a-kind place we will not forget and look forward to returning. Thank you for creating memories that will stay will us forever.

My husband and I spent 10 days there: 5 days in a two bedroom ridge top condo, 5 days in a two bedroom beachfront villa. We wanted to try both for future reference. We are not spring chickens, 60s and 70s. We are very active, not the sit on the beach types. We have traveled over 40 years throughout the Caribbean. A couple of things. First, if you have any mobility issues, forget it. There are lots of steps and walkways with uneven ground, no elevators. Even a beachfront villa will present a challenge. You have to walk or ride to all meals. Second, if you like to get around, you have to bike, or try to catch one of the buggies. We were pretty frustrated because I don't bike due to a previous horrible bike accident. We were stuck calling a buggie or walking and it's a long very hot walk up and down hills to the cove. We're used to having our own car and went a bit stir crazy with lack of options. Options for snorkeling, car rental, etc, ridiculously expensive. Third. You'd better have WhatsApp ap. We didn't, big pain since all staff interactions happen using it. We were stuck with ye old telephone and felt ancient. Accommodations were top notch. Loved both the ridge-top and the villa. Ridge-top nice breeze and view on porch. Villa nice small pool and ocean view. You'd be happy with either, it comes down to price and preference. Service is excellent. We loved all the folks, a shout out to Nideep, Earl, and Mon, and all the others. Could ask for nicer, helpful people. Food, pretty good, not exceptional. Somewhat uneven. True foodies might gripe a bit. They were very accommodating about special requests. We have some food restrictions. Price for food was reasonable we thought. Loved eating at the great house. The cove not so much. Ok, so. Stuff we like to do is swim, snorkel, kayak. The Atlantic side was actually our favorite side, it wasn't too rough and not much seaweed the first few days. Snorkeling was pretty good, lots of seagrass, sporadic fish, including an ALBINO stingray! Baracudda will follow you around but nothing to worry about. There is a reef WAY offshore but hard to see and easy to miss. We went with a local who knew where it was. Water temperature perfect, good swimming, really liked it. The Cove, where you have to go to lunch, we actually hated. Most people like it. The water is so shallow (2 feet or so) except in one small area, you can hardly swim without your arms hitting the bottom. It's hot hot hot, the water is hot, the sea floor is muddy rather than sandy. Nothing much to see in the water. Very short beach. You can kayak and paddle board. There's a bar and food. They have two nights a week where dinner is served there instead of the great house. They have a Bonfire with s'mores for dessert. Thought that was ill conceived with 90 plus degree heat index while there. We had room service for lunch and dinner a couple of times because we couldn't stand the heat at the cove. While we were there there was a LOT of digging around and moving dirt around by the cove. Giant earthmovers, noise, blowing dust. Made it pretty yucky. There's another man made beach visible from the cove, they will take you there in a buggie or ride a bike for something to do. Great walking beach, same shallow hot water issue as the cove for swimming. Talked to front desk about how to get to Jerry Camp and they organized a drop off for us. Now that was a great spot! Great kayaking, swimming and general messing around in the water. Loved it there! Organized a snorkel trip through the front desk. Included ride to town, boat trip, lunch. Very expensive. 4 stops, we loved the snorkeling to the edge of the 7,000 foot drop! The boat is locally owned and offers a unique experience. The only problem was the boat ladder too short necessitated guy hauling us up by the arm onto boat. Seriously hurt my shoulder which was weak anyway. I would buy the guy a better ladder, seriously! We liked it, but frankly probably won't go back. We like the quiet island aspect, but went nuts without wheels and only one place to do serious swimming.

This vacation at Sailrock was phenomenal! The happiness from every staff member has positively impacted our stay w their gracious attitude, kind heart and hospitality far beyond anyone’s expectations! They catered to us like king and queen. The food is so delicious, the talent speaks for itself when you dive into any of the islands menu items at the resort or at the Cove. The bartenders are phenomenal and look forward to making you smile! The call you by first name and I can’t recommend this place enough! The fun is extraordinary! The views and peace just breathtaking. We thank you for everything you did to make our stay one to talk about and remember forever. Much love for the people at South Turks and Caicos Island Sailrock Resort.

Every part of our week at Sailrock was a 5 star experience. The resort is beautiful, secluded and quiet, the activities (kayaks, paddle boards, bikes) are amazing, and the staff couldn't be nicer. Putra was an amazing host and Jerom was the best, friendliest server we've ever had. We can't wait to come back and stay at Sailrock again.

My boyfriend and I just returned from our first trip to Sailrock and we had the most fabulous time. It goes without saying that the scenery is breathtaking and the amenities are the epitome of luxury, but the real reason that Sailrock is so special is because of its staff. Admittedly when doing my own research on the resort and reading the reviews beforehand, I found it unusual that so many previous visitors were able to name individual members of the staff - never have I visited any other hotel/resort and had such great experience with the staff that I could remember anyone by name. But the staff at Sailrock is like a family, and they make you feel like family, which is so special! Putra was our host during this trip and he was wonderful. We were able to communicate with him via Whatsapp and he would respond promptly - from requesting additional turndown service, ordering room service, or booking an experience at the spa - we would get a response within minutes and with hardly any effort on our part. Putra was also so kind, stopping by our table during meals or while we were at the beach to say hello, check in on us, and see if we needed anything. Oftentimes at other hotels asking for help or scheduling a service is a task to dread, but Putra and the team at Sailrock made it so easy! Juni helped us virtually from the moment we booked our trip, from assisting with arranging our hopper flights, booking initial excursions, and helping plan for some special decor in the room upon our arrival to celebrate our anniversary. She also runs the resort shop onsite and is such a pleasure to be around - we found ourselves popping in to say hello and buying snacks just to see her friendly face and have a chat :) While at Sailrock we also took advantage of some excursions and experiences that were lovely - Spa - I booked a pedicure and a couples massage. Dewi was my pedicurist and a masseuse along with Jocelyn. The services were completed in an outdoor cabana overlooking the Caribbean Sea. They were so peaceful, the view was serene, and both Dewi and Jocelyn provided exceptional service! I also found that prices were quite affordable for the amount of time allotted for each. As a native New Yorker I would have paid about as much for a pedicure in the city that would have taken half the time and had a much less lovely view! ATV tour - Ben was our tour guide for the 2-hour long excursion that was so fun and educational! He took us through the history of the resort as well as that of South Caicos, which was great to learn about from the perspective of a native islander. I am no thrill seeker myself, but he was very kind and patient even when I was a little nervous about riding ATVs for the first time. And the views were phenomenal! The tour took us to the very tip of the island which was just beautiful. Accommodations - our villa was such a fabulous and luxurious experience. We had amenities like a full kitchen and pool at our disposal. The villa faced the Atlantic Ocean, and we would wake up early daily to see the sunrise. We would divvy up our days between the stunning beach at the Cove and our own private pool, and it felt like we had the best of both worlds. Needless to say we had the most incredible time at the resort, and found ourselves already planning our return while we were on our trip. We can't wait to be back for the beauty of the island, but also to see all of our friends on the staff! I couldn't recommend Sailrock enough!

I visited Sailrock for a week in April 2023 with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. Sailrock is easily the best vacation I have ever been on. We have visited multiple high end resorts in the Caribbean including Aruba, the Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico, etc and Sailrock is by far the best we have ever visited for two huge reasons. The first reason is the outstanding team - Putra, Juni, Jerom, Lalu, Ben, and more all made for an outstanding stay. In my experience, getting to know the team taking care of you is uncommon and one of the unique features about Sailrock. Putra was our gracious host and he made our experience truly amazing. Having a dedicated host exceeded our expectations and he often checked in with us (via their messaging system) to make sure we were all taken care of. Everyone greets you with a smile and takes the time to get to know you - I could write paragraphs praising all these team members. For example, my girlfriend loves ice with all her beverages and everyone at Sailrock knew and would immediately grab her ice for her drinks - at the beach, lunch, dinner, etc. In addition they turned down the room at our discretion multiple times per day if needed. One night they messaged me to ask when I was going to dinner so they could clean the room again. This was amazing because we could nap before dinner, then return to a perfect room again. The second reason is the amazing location and property. South Caicos is beautiful and serene. We saw multiple animals including: donkeys, ospreys, stingrays, a baby shark, and more. Thanks to the location we were able to star gaze at night and see multiple constellations. The resort does not get packed so we always had an amazing seat at the beach, restaurant, etc. We could be isolated or mingle with guests at our own discretion. The property itself is amazing too. We stayed in a villa and it was really special. The furniture and décor was very modern and high end. The bathrooms were up to date and it even included an outdoor shower and private pool. The pool was also cleaned daily or as requested so there was really nothing we could complain about if we tried. The property also includes some fun free activities such as bicycles & kayaks which we recommend taking advantage of! Our trip ended a short while ago and thanks to Putra and the rest of the Sailrock team we are already planning to return as soon as possible!

Just got back from a fabulous perfect family beach vacation! 7 night stay at Sail rock South Caicos was truly special. Private cove beach and amazingly pristine calm clear water on the bay. Upon check in our room was upgraded to 3 bedroom beach villa with private pool! Kids had a blast, Swimming, discovering sea life, and paddle boarding and kayaking! Trudo was the perfect host and the entire staff was lovely. Food was delicious, with a different dinner menu every night never got bored. Even my picky eaters were happy with every meal. They also offer a separate wellness menu, quinoa salad was a favorite. South Caicos has the remote feel of a private island great for families or couples.

There’s a lot of love about Sailrock: the calm beach with tons of water toys (paradise for kids and adults alike), exploring the beautiful surrounding waters via boat, the spacious and comfortable beachfront villas, etc. It’s truly an ideal spot for a peaceful and relaxing beach vacation. But ultimately it’s the staff that really makes it so special. Putra took such wonderful care of us the entire visit - setting up excursions, facilitating anything we needed in the villa, and even surprising our older daughter with a cake for her birthday. Juni, Lalu, Jerome, Leny, Dewa, Tikara, Pema, Kumbir, and others were all so warm and thoughtful. They not only made us feel constantly welcome but were especially wonderful with our two young daughters. We rarely visit the same place twice, but we look forward to returning here!
