Do not waste your money! The room had goldfish crackers and coffee creamer lids on the floor, no blankets even though it was November! Animals of some sort in wall and ceiling keeping us up all night. No one would answer the phone when we called with our concerns, no one at the desk! It felt like we were staying...

The resort is at a great location. Most rooms are truly waterfront. There is an interlocking bricks deck at the back of the room which is steps away from the lake. The bath room is very clean with all types of clean towels and simple toiletry. The room is a kind of dated and needs a face lift. The restaurant...

Stayed a few days here while fall hiking in Algonquin Park. The guy behind the desk was very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, had a great bed and a view of the lake. I gather that much of the dining was shut down for the Fall/Winter season but we got an okay breakfast there every morning....

Awesome location, friendly staff. We stayed here for 2 nights during our roadtrip. Old, but clean rooms at affordable prices. You are in Algonquin to see nature, not to stay in your hotelroom. Bonus: free use of kayaks and canoes on a beautiful lake.

We checked in and were upgraded (no charge) from room in inn to #1 cottage right on the water edge. The location of the inn is absolutely beautiful. Our view of the water and forests was amazing day and night. There were canoes and kayaks free to use. Our cottage had a clean full kitchen including many dishes and pots. Cottage was...

Stayed here 2 nights. The location is great however there are several concerns chief of which is the place isn't being properly looked after. The manager is non existent. They do not answer their phone. The guy on the front desk can hardly speak English. The rooms are badly in need of an upgrade. The carpets are dirty and need...

The inn needs some updating, but it is clean and very comfortable. Our room (#5) was very large, overlooked the lake and had a lovely outside deck. The room had a gas fire place, table and wingback chairs, a jacuzzi, mini fridge, large tv, and a very comfortable king size bed. Breakfast in the dining room was good - typical...

First the service. At the very run down reception area the young man there didn't speak English so asking for anything was an exercise in frustration. At booking I was promised a coffee machine for our room. When he finally understood what we wanted I was given a dirty machine with very old coffee grounds still in it! As for...

Apparently under management with personnel inexperienced in the hospitality industry. The food was deplorable and served poorly. The rooms are outdated and need updating. Our dinner reservation had to be changed to accommodate a "large" dinner party - 8 people. Half of the menu was unavailable, and the other half was inedible. No coffee available after 10 a.m. Very expensive...

We were looking forward to our visit and expected a nice, welcoming place since we were paying quite a lot for the room. The person at the desk was not welcoming and the room was really disappointing. Yes, the lakeside view was lovely. We relaxed in the provided chairs on our little terrace. However, the bed was a double, hard...
