My girlfriend and I stayed at the Wolf Den Sept 21st - Sept 23rd. This is a great place to stay, it is located just outside the park and has all you need to enjoy the great outdoors with the comfort of home. Upon arrival we were personally greeted and made to feel very welcomed. We stayed in a bunkhouse...

We just returned from our first visit to the Wolf Den. We stayed in "Nana and Jack's " cabin which is made of huge squared timbered logs. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Clean, charming interior of the cabin, excellent deck for relaxing and refreshing. A stroll down to the river for a paddle. Excellent! Jen and Jacques were exceptionally helpful...

This is a great hostel for exploring Algonquin (you'll almost certainly need a car) with excellent facilities. My girlfriend and I stayed in a private room in the main building - it was small and could do with better pillows, but the highlight and emphasis of this hostel is the amazing communal areas. The kitchen is easily the best I've...

Location is perfect - just outside the park. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed meeting other travellers and excellent kitchen facilities make meals easy. My only complaint was the annoying loud Christian rock music playing on the stereo when we got there and through our stay, but not sure if that was from the owners or guests. Would...

My three kids, our dog Bella and I had a fantastic time here at the Wolf Den. The kids enjoyed the pathway down to the river. We created some fantastic memories, enjoyed some new adventures and laughed the whole time. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us. 😃

First time visit to the Wolf Den and loved it. Stayed in larger eco-cabins and really enjoyed the cabin and location. Owners were very welcoming and kind, very helpful and respectful. Really enjoyed the visit.

This was our second visit to Wolf Den, and I just love it. The owners, Jennifer and Jacques, are incredibly warm and welcoming. I was a bit sceptical at first, I thought I had long ago traded in the hostel experience for five star hotels. But I loved Wolf Den - the place, the atmosphere, the conviviality. The main house...

The Wolf den was great. We had one of the private cabins across the road from the main lodge. The cabin was well-equipped uncomfortable and it was lovely to eat meals outside. One of the best parts of our stay was the eclectic group of guests who gather around the campfire every night. We had visitors from Germany, Ireland, Romania,...

The private log cabin had a very comfy large bed, was equipped with a fire extinguisher, and had plenty of space to spread out all my gear. There were plenty of washrooms, wash stations and kitchen equipment for accommodating large or small groups entering and exiting. Coop living feel that was pleasant and not overly communal to the point of...

“If you have a dog or two - as I do - there are several cabins that are available for you! They are very clean - well maintained - and DO NOT smell like an animal hotel. As a courtesy, I always bring dog blankets to cover the beds so that the dogs can sleep but NOT contribute to animal odors in the cabins when I am gone~ ”
