Klarer is by far the best restaurant in Zuoz. I say this because the service is excellent, the waiters are kind, the time they take to took short and especially the food is amazing. Pizzoccheri is probably their best dish. They are delicious! The prices are very good considering they are in Switzerland;) One more thing: the desserts! Klarer's desserts are...

Having spent 6 days in wonderful Zuoz, skiing and visiting friends, we are truly sad having to leave today. The environment, the village, the hotel, everything is just beautiful. Sitting dead central in the village, the hotel, with its own bakery, delicatessen and restaurant is one of the friendliest places we've visited so far! We felt right at home immideately!...

The restaurant of Hotel Klarer is also open to non guests and has a very special flavor with its traditional wooden structure typical of the Engadin. The building traces its roots back to the 16th century when Zuoz was an administrative center of the valley. The menu is quite traditional but the wine list is something extraordinary with a very...

This hotel is in a very old building but has plenty of modern amenities and comfort and lots of charm. The staff was always kind even though I don't speak a word of German of any sort! The food was authentic and it was great having the bakery right there also, Yum! We stayed 5 days to visit family and...

We stayed at this place for 1 night during a multi-day hike and really enjoyed our stay. Altough the restaurant is closed on Mondays (which is usual in smaller villages in Switzerland) and we did not know exactly when we would arrive the hotel told us during the booking to call when we arrive. The manager arrived promptly and showed...

My sister and I have just returned from Zuoz not knowing what to expect as snow was disappearing and no cable cars working at present. Luckily, we were in the friendly Hotel Klarer with staff who enjoyed their guests. Everyone from the owner Rita to waitress/kitchen/shop staff only too happy to chat and advise days out and food dishes. Room...

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in January. My room was massive, the bed was comfortable. I really felt like I went back in time and had an authentic Swiss experience. The staff was very friendly, especially the young Italian waitress.

In my opinion best lunch restaurant/pastry/bakery of the all area... Simple, low profile but much more elegant than all the other places around Try eggs and roosti, a true speciality! Very good idea, for family travelers a small kids area inside the restaurant...

We stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks, between 23rd of December 2013- 4th of January 2014. It was our third time checking in in Klarer, and I can say that the things have not changed so much in the last four years. The hotel consists in two buildings, the main one in which you can find the restaurant,...

Really enjoyed staying at Hotel Klarer. It was a truly authentic Swiss experience. The hotel was charming with a Swiss feel. Our room was spacious, in a quiet area, comfortable beds and a little dining area for cocktails/aperos. Our breakfast was very basic (typical European - breads, cheeses, yogurts etc.). Enjoyed a delicious lunch in the hotel restaurant. This hotel...
