A really lovely little hotel with a lot of character.
The room was very pleasant with lovely views of the mountains,
The restaurant did get busy but not heard from the room, only slight noise from some people having a bonfire to the side of the restaurant.
The bathroom was nice but very small was fine for a couple of nights.
They did have disability slopes going into the hotel but the one was shut off by flowers pots, but it had stairs and no lift to the bedrooms.

If I only eat their polenta for the rest of my life I would be a happy person.
This is also one of the few quiet guest houses in the area.
The service is a bit old school though. I'm not sure if it is provided in any foreign language.
Our room was big and clean and comfortable. It was a bit smelly in the evenings due to the trash fires.
The owner can give great trekking tips, but it's difficult to catch him around.

Cabana (chalet) Gura Dihamului is located at about 6 km from the Bușteni railway station; the forest road is quite good on the Deer Valley (Valea Cerbului). The old chalet turned now into a true hotel; the restaurant is very picturesque, elegant, everything is from wood. The menu is rich; and a quite fast and friendly service. As in all restaurants avoid busy days and hours. Especially for the Romanians, it's a shame not to go here at least once.

The worst customer service ever. We stopped to have lunch and the staff refused to serve us on the terrace even though people were seated because it was a bit cloudy. The selection of the customers is made by the waiters based on how you dress. Bare in mind it is an area frequently visited by hikers and is the only place to grab something to eat. Avoid at all cost.

Gura Diham is situated at the end of the Valley of the Deer, in a strategic and magnificent location, surrounded by the peaks of the Bucegi mountains and the Caraiman Cross.
It is suitable for a stay with family and friends in any season to enjoy the wonders of nature. The cottage has been renovated and has new features. The restaurant is excellent (I will write a separate review on the profile) and offers a variety of traditional and game dishes. The hotel is clean and the staff is very kind, a great starting point for excursions or to visit the neighboring towns.

Horrible food. Atrocious service. Not even stop. A lot of wedding parties for low level tribesmen. Correct place to study anthropology on locals. Enough garbage in landshaft for generations of brown bears.

Relatively good food. A quite expensive bill and the waiter tells us than we cannot pay by card. VISA and MASTERCARD please ask them to remove your logo ASAP, since they force you to pay cash.
There where I do come from this filthy trick is equivalent to fiscal evasion.
I think there is an institution called DNA in Romania, it really worth a visit at this place.
Oh, and I forgot to mention about the absolutely miserable toilets !!!!!
Will never come back, definitively!!

I love the mountains not only for the views, but especially for the clean and fresh air. Living in a big city makes me appreciate even more the quality of the mountain air. I was dreaming about my trip in the Carpati and I was planning to sleep with the window wide open and... so I did, but because the room was very hot and with no AC which wouldn’t have been a problem if the air outside hadn’t had a smell of... animal excrements, pig I guess. Moreover, unfortunately, this was not all; there was some kind of motor making a horrible noise, not continuous, but at regular intervals of around 10 minutes. The room was enough clean but the sheets had stains. During the shower, the water floods the floor of the bathroom. So, if you plan to go in this place, try to avoid room 104.

We where looking for some traditional Romanian food and we ended up at Gura Diham restaurant. The food was just horrible and extremely bad service! You better starve then eat there! We also had a wedding 2 meters from our table(no one told us anything about it when we booked the table) and had to support extremely loud music for 4 hours.
