This is the second time we visit this charming b&b... no accident... the warm and accommodating staff, clean and comfy rooms have made us feel welcome, almost at home. We have now instituted this yearly reunion and I can predict Patio da Figueira to host us over and over for some time to come.
We booked this thinking it was in Torres Vedras town, which it isn't; however, while slightly remote (wouldn't particularly recommend without a car) was a great place to stay for the price. Set in a peaceful patch of land, nice little swimming pool behind the hotel. The rooms were fine, if slightly odd - one looked like a Canadian log-cabin, bizarre (but in a good way, I think). Decent selection of non-Portuguese tv channels, very comfy bed, and absolute peace and quiet overnight, wonderful. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, although fresh strawberries a nice touch. A decent option for those with a car around the area; if you do stay here, consider the Tras d'Orelha restaurant just down the road for your meal!
