We went there in August. Temperatures during the day were exceeding 30 C. Nights were probably much warmer that average for August. Air conditioning would be an asset. Nice hotel with quite big choice for breakfast, but some dishes were not my style. Additionally I would appreciate better coffee.

My stay at the hotel was three days during an international conference. The rooms are well furnished, extremely clean and the staff is hospitable. I will remember the beautiful buildings connected to each other by a warm connection.

If you're a fan of nature and quiet places to visit - well there you go! 'Couse besides walking and cyclikg paths there is not much more to do. Very quiet place with a smal town of 650 people where main interest is about apples. They grow wildly all over Stare Jablonki and it's free to pick apples directly form trees in the season. About the hotel.... welll maybe it's just a professional demadge as an interior designer that I'm very picky about the materials, furniture and every other detail on the spot. And it is a Las Vegas over there! Each piece of the hotel is different- unfortunately in the worst way possible. I'm not a fan of dark spaces with no taste. I liked the spa area but agaun- saunas were not working as the time table suggested and the only one jacuzzi was not working at all..... there goes my good mood about the spa rest. I'm really happy about the food. I know that master chef has been working there for over 20 years, has won lots of different international prizes and from time to time is cooking togeter with Okrasa - which is one of polish kitchen celebrities;) I hear he visits there often but I guess it's just for the food and area;) Hotel staff is very polite and over all the hotel is clean, new and nicely situated. They also offer you a bike to rent which is a nice touch. And least but not last - appple pie to die for! Best one I ever had:)

Though the initial hut was not warmed up for our coming, the hotel staff did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable and it did make it an enjoyable stay. Though the rooms seem like they could use some renovation, the surroundings definitely make it up for this, so it's definitely recommendable. Rooms could be tidier, but the bed was very comfortable and that's my no.1 requirement.

We were staying in a stylish cottage with a fireplace, which is a kind of bungalow. The cottages are a perfect place to stay for families with children. The hotel itself is a large facility equipped with hotel rooms in the main building and bungalows scattered in the surrounding area. We enjoyed the buffet style breakfasts and dinners, the food was very tasty. On the premises we used the sauna and swimming pool. The hotel occupies a fairly large area, so that was a lot of space to wander around the facility.

Very close to the old centre, the Barbican, cathedral square, the church of Maria. The underpass to the park, the opera house etc is lovely. And to top it off: shopping centre next door. The dinner we had here was good, the breakfast was ok too, if not inspired. Rooms are good too. Glass door into the toilet seems a bit of an overkill. Bath is lovely and deep, have to try it yet. TV a bit of a challenge to manage at first.

Response from HotelAnders, Kierownik at Hotel Anders

Dear Madam, It seems to us that the review that you posted, does not apply to the Hotel Anders. Perhaps there was a mistake - described attractions are not in the Hotel Anders and its surroundings. Maybe you mean Hotel Andels in Cracow? Nevertheless - you're welcome to Stare Jabłonki. Daniel Błaszkiewicz, director of marketing and sales

We spent 2 nights in Hotel Anders. This is more a summer place but we got a very good promotion with Groupon so we decided to give it a go. Location is lovely, the hotel is by a lake with beautiful views, very calm and relaxing place. Check in and check out was smooth. Room was very neutral, good size but for some reason the heating was not working the first day and considering that outside was -5 C, the room felt a bit cold. Bathroom was small and had a shower with no bath. It was a double room but unfortunately with twin beds instead of double bed. Spa is ok but I would not call this place a spa hotel, it is a hotel with some spa facilities. There are 3 very small saunas, a hot tub and a swimming pool so it is nothing really special. Breakfast had good choice but not good quality specially the hot food, terrible sausages like plastic. We had also dinner buffet and also food was quite bad quality I dont know how it will be in the other restaurants that the hotel offers. Good point is the free wifi in the room that actually worked very well. In general an average stay for a 4* hotel, nothing special.

Came back from hotel Anders yesterday. I have to say they really put some effort in everything. There is lake, availability to hire canoe ,boat etc. ,play net ball, tennis, bowling ,swim in the pool in the lake, have your treatments done in the spa etc. Beautiful surroundings make you feel increadibly relaxed, and we walked walked and walked adoring the nature. Food is very good although wouldn't say my room was 4 * never the less everything else made it up for specially for the small price I paid. I recommend this hotel for families with children and people who like active holidays, also to them who like doing nothing. To the nearest town is about 20 km.

I just spent with my wife two days at this very quiet and welcoming hotel. The room was clean and well equipped, there was a balcony and everything was working fine. The main restaurant was serving an excellent food, and the employees were all very helpful and friendly, even if their knowledge of English was sometimes limited. It is a family oriented hotel, located next to a lake and which has many excellent sport facilities: a swimming pool of about 25m, tennis courts, volley ball ground, etc. Excursions can be organized in the neighborhood, which is very scenic. The hotel has also a nice spa.
