We wanted to stay close to the airport after arriving in port on our last day of vacation to stay in Rome as our flight left early the next morning. I found the villa to be a very clean and bright place to stay and convenient to the airport. The innkeepers were friendly and cordial and couldn't do enough to...

This is a small but charming hotel close to the airport in Rome. I stayed only one night. Federico picked me up and then took me back later to pick up my bag which British Airways had not loaded onto my flight. It was a lovely first night in Italy, and despite being in the middle of suburbia, felt like...

We had a short layover in Rome on our way back to the US from Sicily. My wife booked this hotel near Flumincino, and I really wasn't expecting much from a layover so close to the airport. To my surprise, it was actually a very enjoyable night. Mild mannered Frederico, the owner, picked us at the arrivals terminals early in...

We were very pleasantly surprised by this b+b close to Fiumicino airport. We had arranged for a late check in but because of language restrictions we weren't exactly sure about pick up etc. However we called Frederico who picked us up within 10 minutes. We were welcomed with bottles of cold water, plus there was an option of making our...

Off the beaten path but close to Rome's international airport. Charming and villa like with great great service and breakfast. Transportation is available to the airport where you can catch a train into Rome. Grocery store and a couple of restaurants are within walking distance.

The hotel is located off the main drag which actually makes it a quieter choice. It is on side street in a residential area near a sports field. It is adorable, looking much like some of the villas we saw in Tuscany. There is a delightful veranda to sit on surrounded by pretty flowers and greenery. We stayed in a...

Villa Rosita is a great little Inn close to Rome's major airport. We were picked up by the charming and helpful Frederico who gave us useful pointers on where to eat. Next door is a sports club with a pizzeria but we walked to the nearby Al Nasosi restaurant which was excellent. However, the sounds and the smells from the...

My Family and I arrived quite late (flight delayed) and this can sometimes be a problem, however not so at Villa Rosita. The pleasant and gentle owner seems to be the type of person that takes all things calmly in his stride (a big relief as we hate inconveniencing people). the rooms were very clean and tidy and we spent...
