There is major renovation going on next door to the B&B. It did not bother us but in the near future the Lord Edward should be even better. The walls are thin, but the rooms are very nice. Room 301 is huge! The wifi is good. The bathroom could offer an additional towel, but overall it is a very nice... More

An excellent find which we will now visit frequently on our shopping trips. My friend and I stayed in a ground floor room which was newly decorated and carpeted. It was well equipped with a wet room and comfy beds. The rooms are in a separate building to the numerous bars which serve excellent food at a very reasonable price.... More

We spent 3 nights in Lord Edward with 2 children, and everything went on very well. We already new the B&B because it was our 3th time there... so we like it very much. The room was comfortable, very clean and with good wifi. The breakfast was fantastic, with very different options to choose (all we had were perfect). All... More

We stayed in the Lord Edward for one night, as a stop-over to break up a longer trip. Our room was great- it was spotless, and everything was fresh and new. The bed was comfortable and we had enough pillows and towels. Tea/coffee and toiletries were provided. The staff members in the Silken Thomas were very friendly, helpful and the... More

Amazing hospitality. I had 17 family members visiting Ireland from all over the UK, and ranging from 4 years up to 55! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the positioning was superb, with lovely accommodation annexed to a superb pub & restaurant. They really couldn't do enough for us and the service made the trip all the more enjoyable! Total recommendation... More

This is a very impressive operation, the pubs, club, restaurant, rooms etc. I have been staying here for a few years and always stay when they have space. The rooms are simple, they have certainly been spruced up recently and are nicer than ever. The staff here across the board are very nice, but Beata who looks after the rooms... More
