I know this word can be overused, but in this case it perfectly describes my week at Nosara Paddlesurf. From the moment I was picked up at the airport till my departure, everything was top notch.
The drivers, the kitchen staff, the surf coaches were all genuinely friendly and we

I can’t even imagine a scenario where this surf camp wouldn’t get 5 stars. It was a class act operation from groundskeepers, kitchen staff, van drivers, surf instructors to the amazing facility. Nate and Lelah didn’t miss a detail.
A special shout out goes to instructors Andru,

We have just returned from a family surfcamp with Nate & his team of very professional coaches. It has been the most wonderful experience for us all. Our two children of 10 & 13 yrs old were extremely well catered for during their surf classes. The accommodation is excellent and

Hi! My BF and I spent time in Tamarindo and loved it, but it was extremely windy (probably February or March). Do you tend to have less wind where you are? We could come any time from January through March. Also, he is WAY better than I, but I guess from reading your reviews you've got that covered. Is it "permissible" to take a day off and go visit some local sites, and what would the travel arrangements be for that? Thanks so much -- looks like a great place!
Hey, Thanks for reaching out! First off, sorry for the delay, Trip Advisor just let us know there was a question. Email will be the best way to reach out, just hit contact us on our website. It's not uncommon for the winds to blow a bit stronger for a few days sometime during the January to March window. It is a bit less in Nosara however and it's something we deal with every year. We have the flexibility to pick the ideal times to surf and very rarely end up having to cancel a session due to safety concerns and the winds. Remember, having some offshore winds is good. And while it may be a bit tricky to get used to, with the proper techniques and positioning it's great because the wave breaks so much better. At the moment we have windows of space throughout that time. January 27 - February 3 March 17 - 24 March 24 - 31 March 31 - April 7 April 7 - 14 And if you're most concerned, typically the March weeks have the least chance for winds. Cheers, Nate

I'm a beginner SUP surfer from Florida who would like to improve my skills. I prefer a private room and a training package. Can you help? Thanks Jerry
Hey Jerry, Thanks so much for reaching out! We work with all levels of SUP surfers and I'm proud to say both our coaching team and program is dialed when it comes to getting emerging SUP surfers more confident and ready for the lineup. We can do private rooms, it all depends on the existing space. Let me know which week you're interested in and I can let you know. Our November camp dates are full however there is private room availability in December. As you sort through the details and make plans I also find it helpful to share a bit of information and get a little from you too. At this point it's okay to be general as I'll send on a Paddler Profile for you to fill out after confirming your spot. Our guests have ranged from solo travelers to groups of friends, would you be coming along or with some friends or spouse? Typically folks arrive on Saturday and everyone is usually settled in around mid-afternoon. We find it nice to kick off with an orientation and networking piece that arrival day and then have a nice meal together. Come Sunday morning we're up and out the door ready to get wet. Any sense of what some of your goals would be? As you search out flights I definitely recommend flying into Liberia. The transport from there is about 2.5 hours compared to around 5.5 hours from San Jose. Also, we have your airport transfers covered from Liberia to Nosara. Oh, and email is a good medium for contact too. Looking forward to hearing back! Nate
