LOVED my stay at BVC! Finding myself needing to relocate hotels during high season in Nosara was not ideal/easy - or at least that’s what it seemed. After a friendly referral to BVC, the owner quickly helped me out and was able to juggle some rooms to accommodate me for the for the rest of my stay. I 100% fell in love with this spot. BVC has a variety of rooms, you can do more casual camp like cabins on one side of the street where the pool and restaurant is located or... You can do a suite on the other side, close to the yoga studio + a two min walk to the ocean. The suite was a dream! Spacious, clean, large comfortable king bed and a hanging day bed. A desk for study and a mini kitchen (stocked with all the essentials) perfect for making cold meals + coffee/tea! The free yoga was amazing, all types and wonderful instructors! Breakfast was delish!! All organic options... The staff were warm, welcoming and make you feel at home instantly. If you’re looking to be in the heart of Nosara, live the culture and the pura vida life, this is the place to go! The most beautiful thing about this sweet place is the vibe... it’s a safe, relaxing, cozy and pure bliss. Thank you BVC for a stay I will always remember, I’ll be back soon!…
Be calm it is almost over! after 2 hours and 30 min from the airport in a pretty dust challenging road - we arrived at our $180 dollars Buena Vida hotel. as the name suggests, good life, the perfect spot to unwind from all Corona madness around the world. Surprise surprise disgusting surprise ! the most overpriced “hotel” I have stayed in more than 30 years. Keep in my I am from a Latin America country. the pool disgusting dirty and has not been clean for at least one week - nobody inside for sure. chairs around the pool are old and you can’t remotely imagine sitting there - actually nobody was sitting on them. Let’s go to the room - What should We do ! no tv, old refrigerator surrounded by a “rustic” destroyed cabinet. Wait, I have more to Share. the place is so small, the bathroom is XHGFKJUYTY impossible. The shower - how can I describe - fidkhagoskshhshsi. bed pretty flat and old sheets. Bathroom towels no no. At this point we decided no shower - nooooo. I can’t be here without showers. guess what, bathroom plugged for no major reason. Went to check-in area and was directed to a closet with the most disgusting pieces of equipment... remember, lots of boutique hotels around similar prices. Don’t get distracted by “breakfast included” - this can’t be called breakfast. Two great things about Buena Vida - gorgeous beach Leaving full of gratitude It is over !!…
I really enjoyed staying here. Prices were decent and i didnt have areservation. Very happy with my time here. Cant wait to return.thanks to everyone who helped me while i was there. Big ups to the community
So grateful for our family time at BVC for 3 weeks this Jan. First and most importantly b/c of the STAFF-these guys hire the most loving, caring, qualified staff- Brian, Jason, Wai Wai, Nacho Man, Mariella, Kaya-always smiling and checking in with us, playing with our 4 year old, offering fresh coconuts, taking care of any questions we had...this is why we have stayed loyal to BVC (formerly Kaya Sol) for 15 years of return visits-the love and genuine humble connection the staff exhibits is really special to find in today's world-and it's especially meaningful to us as parents-feels like extended family. Other major pluses for us is JP's cafe-Naked Foods-truly the best food in Playa Guiones. You can read about all the other benefits as well-as close to the beach as you can get, beautiful old growth trees that have been well loved and create a little sanctuary right in the heart of the bustle of the town, and the kids/arts programs at the collective were the best icing on the cake we could have asked for! Upon arrival we learned that our son could take free art classes and kids afternoons, as well as kids night out that included organic vegan catered dinner, jungle path treasure hunts, making art of plastic bottles etc...I teared up when I learned this...we have nothing like this in the states and I felt so grateful my son could have a break from the indoor disney movie/pizza scene of US kids nights out and instead enjoy fresh air and great food and loving teacher with kids from around the world-a parents dream AND a date night out for my husband and I. I can't recommend BVC more highly-especially if you are coming as a family. This one is the real deal, family owned and operated and loved for years...you can't find anything better and we look forward to going back as soon as possible!…
We spent a week in the Buena Vibra hotel and had a fantastic time. The rooms were very clean and situated in a beautiful garden, which was maintained every day. The hotel offers a variety of Yoga and other courses, surf lessons and a kids club. The entire BVC team was awesome and went above and beyond. Thank you Ryan, Suzi, Bryan, Jason and Mariela for making us feel at home!
A great place walking distance to the beach and very good restaurants. The pool was just right and had a water fall. The room was spacious with excellent AC. There was plenty of space to visit with family who were staying also. The town had every thing you need for a beach stay if you forgot something. I want to go back 😉🌴
We came with three generations of our family and found a bit of paradise in Nosara. The Buena Vibra rooms were comfortable and quiet, the grounds beautiful, the hotel staff welcoming and delightful, and the beach astounding!! We all had an amazing time and our family enjoyed the surfing, warm waters and beautiful sunsets. Thank you Ryan and Buena Vibra for making this an experience to cherish!
What a comfortable, beautiful and well run place. We came with our family and felt so at home here. We had a kitchenette which was great for early morning kid breakfasts and late afternoon lazy lunchtime. We loved the shaded pool during the heat of the day and the friendly vibe with other guests. The surf was perfect for beginners, the place spacious enough for quiet and visiting time too. The owners were so friendly and generous with the space and their time..organizing rides and details that we couldnt have known about. Thank you thank you.
We have stayed at kaya sol and iluminar (now buena vibra) numerous times, and each trip gets better. They have been making continuous improvements, and the place is really beautiful. We most recently rented enough space for 19 of us for a family trip. The facilities and central location are absolutely perfect for large groups. Everyone can have privacy in their own casita with kitchenette or small kitchen, while enjoying plenty of time together in the common areas. You cant beat the direct beach access and it is great to be central and not have to drive anywhere.
Me and a buddy stayed here for a few nights. Totally loved it. They have brand new, Top Notch rooms, each with private outdoor hangout and hammocks. The rooms have direct beach access, which is a big deal in Nosara. They have the coolest outdoor yoga studio in town. There was an issue with A/C in the room we were supposed to have so they gave us an AWESOME upgrade. Owner is a chiller, lent me his surf board, didn't even charge me after I broke the leash!! Attached there is a really great vegan restaurant and fresh-juice bar. Thanks for having us
