We stayed here for one night in one of the "treehouse" rooms. The cost was $65 per night which is a great value given that the hotel is within walking distance of one of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. The rate got us a nice room with two beds and floor to ceiling windows throughout. Breakfast (fresh fruit, toast,... More

The room was really cozy and clean and I shared an outdoor kitchen and hang out area with one more room. The beach is only a few minutes away and the premises are beautiful, really good for getting close to wildlife and nature. I enjoyed walks in the surrounding area, did not have a car which is recommended if you... More

I worked with the Nosara Bed and Breakfast Retreat to plan a yoga retreat for my clients from Winnipeg, Canada. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful in making the retreat a special experience for our guests. They worked well to resolve any issues that came up. Although the rooms are in need of some TLC, the space... More

We stayed only one night but was impressed by the great service and beautiful location. The owner was very kind and even let us check out late without any extra fees. The 2 young ladies at the reception were very helpful and called us a taxis whenever we needed. The beach is a short walk from the retreat. We were... More

The room was nice and clean. The staff at the hotel are SUPER nice and helpful with everything. They even arranged a private breakfast for us because we had to leave so early one morning. The hotel is located north of main beach playa guiones at playa pelada, so either be prepared to walk a few km along the beach... More

this place was just lovely and very affordable. our room for 2 was part of a "duplex" bungalow in which we shared a porch (including an outdoor kitchen) with one woman next door. each room had its own hammock outside, and the porch view was SPECTACULAR. the vibrant latin-typical paint colors in the foreground made such an outrageously beautiful combo... First of all, the pictures are misleading!!! The way to the retreat is awefull and the parking outside didn't feel safe, because it was outside of the compound with no guard. We got a tiny room with ceiling vent. The room has no isolation and gets very hot during the day. There is No air. The room is very noisy... More

A standard room to rest after a day in Nosara, has the look like a hostel. The bungalows and little houses as rooms are comfortable. The breakfast at morning is fruits and bread, too little for an adventurous day. The price is right for being in Nosara zone. A place to keep in mind for a backpacker maybe.

As a single woman travelling with her children, 13 and 15, this was a great place to stay. We brought the public bus down from Playa del Coco which was an experience if you have the time. We called on Sunday about the turtle nesting at Ostional's National park, Debra called the park for us to ensure that we could... More

The place was so beautiful, sleeping between the trees Even I, as 18 year old girl, am very impressed of this place. The breakfast is very good with every day a nice smoothie. Nosara Retreat is a b&b I will never forget.
