The sink and toilet are loose, also the toilet has no toilet seat. No hot water (only lukewarm water in the middle of the day) and suddenly there was no more water to flush the toilet. The chairs in our room were ready for the junkyard. the mosquito net had to be stretched like a stocking to cover a bit...

After reading the reviews about the Dolphin Safari Lodge, we were very keen to experience the paradise that other traveller's appear to have found. While the welcome from the owner could not have been bettered - he was attentive, introduced everybody who works there and gave valuable insight into the area - the rooms, food and atmosphere could have been...

Patrick's Dolphin Safari Lodge is a true paradise in Kizimkazi, a rather remote area of the island but very beautiful, peaceful and not yet touristy. There is plenty of space to relax on beach chairs and enjoy the wonderful view and from the small beach you can go swimming in the gorgeous blue waters whenever the tides allow it (there...

Stunning beach and location if you want a tranquil getaway in Zanzibar. Great place for the sun sets. Food was very good but somewhat pricy, one can visit the next door lodge for lunches that are very nice too. Credit card machine available but cash is preferred and requested for any excursions. Do check your bill at the end for...

We booked a room for March 2016, then had to change dates thus cancelled the booking. Hotels owners contacted us and agreed dates. We were requested to send 100euros as a prepayment to reserve the room. This was a SWIFT payment. In a couple of days I received the message from Astrid saying that she could not receive the money...

I went during the last summer in this lodge. It was an amazing experience. The owner of the place is really nice and speak french, which can be a real advantage to know about prices, advises and so on on this west coast. We ate overthere, french cuisine was nice! I completely advice you to join Dolphin lodge for your...

We went there in September after some guests of Promise Land highly recommened us to go there. We didn't get disappointed...The owner is a very friendly guy from France who is running this place with real passion and love. He's growing his own veggies and even does his own cheese! We had a Pizza and fresh Red Snapper just caught...

Nestled along the unspoilt rustic southern coastline of Zanzibar this is a soulful, replenishing getaway. Forget about any idea you had about a typical lodge or a resort, this is the ultimate "castaway" island experience. Chef and owner Patrick Platevoet will insist on intense relaxation, and enjoyment at all times. He is a Chef extraordinaire, all guests spend the evenings...

Dophin View Village is a bungalow park kept by a Swedish couple Liesbeth and Jan. Rooms are clean, food is excellent and the whole staff is helping to make you comfortable. Ideal setting to visit the dolphin family. Perfect value for money.
