The Big Room has been our choice on each of our three visits to Casa Cordati. When Giordano was a youngster, it was a children's room and there were sometimes five small boys from the extended family sleeping there. We imagined pillow fights at bedtime and the sheets being pulled off a sleepyhead in the morning. It was good to... More

Quirky place but the accommodation had everything we needed. We are fans of the art museum and felt it added to the ambience. Custodian/owner is a nice guy. May book for longer if we were to return to Tuscany.

I have recently stayed, for a month, in the apartment at Casa Cordata in Barga. The apartment was perfect for my requirements.... room for friends to stay, and room for me to write and explore the wonderful centro storico of Barga. Giordano, my host, could not have been more helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for him. The garden... More

We stayed at Casa Cordati at the end of April 2015. It was a big surprise to see such an usual place but a wonderful experience to stay not at the hotel but at actual palazzo with a museum hall and such a wonderful feeling of fading beauty. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The common area at the... More

We stayed in the apartment within this wonderful museum devoted to the owner's artist grandfather. The apartment was large, functional and simply furnished and equipped for self catering which was perfect for us. The owner Giordano was helpful, welcoming and hospitable. This place is really unique-more a home than a hotel, and if you love paintings, and old buildings, and... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights whilst attending a family wedding. It is situated in the heart of the old town it is also the base for the Bruno Giordano museum and is owned by his grandson. Our room on the second floor was huge consisting of two double rooms with its own bathroom. It is quirky... More

Barga is a fantastic hill town with astounding views, including from Casa Cordati, and this is a great place to stay. It is simply appointed but clean, quiet and right in the middle of the historic town center. You will have an apartment with large rooms and high ceilings in this historic building and right outside your door is the... More

We cannot recommend more this amazing little gem of a place! Giordano the owner is so welcoming (met us in the carpark and carried our bags up the 2 flights of stairs! ). The building is beautiful and the room we stayed in (one at the top!) was huge- 3 beds, a sofa, fridge, big table where we had breakfast,... More

I took my family to Barga in July and stayed in the apartment in Casa Cordati. This was an absolute great place to stay with a full family and the apartment was very large. If you plan to go to Barga for vacation, I would highly recommend this location as it is central to all the great parts of Barga... More
