What a fantastic day at Nokeng! Just a short drive from Pretoria, friendly people and fantastic food just like grandma used to make! Relaxed and looking forward to going back in summer to enjoy the gigantic pool! We can really recommend making the trip for the Sunday buffet.

We stayed in the "Rooibos" Unit, which was pretty much like a shack. No wonder there were no pictures of the inside. The geyser, which is in the middle of the open plan kitchen/lounge held up by two beams burst while we were sleeping and there was boiling hot water spraying all over the entire room, on the electrical appliances... We loved the bushveld and found mother nature to be awesome but the accommodation was a disappointment. Our unit's main bedroom windows and one kitchen window could not close and were falling apart. Overall appearance of the unit - in definite need of renovation. Positive point - the staff were so friendly and helpful. We still enjoyed the absolute serenity... More

My partner and I visited Nokeng Eco Lodge for a romantic weekend and our expectations were exceeded. The chalet that we stayed in (Wildevy) was perfect for us: close to the pool, but built in a way that still gave us privacy. I'd asked Elsje (the owner) to arrange a special dinner on the Friday night, and she unexpectedly brought... More

We camped at Nokeng eco lodge and I'm afraid we were very disappointed. The ablution facilities were dirty on arrival and was only cleaned after our request - and only once in 4 days! The kids' jungle gym is in serious need of repair and the swimming pool dirty and neglected. Warm water available only during certain times of the... More

My friend and I hosted 2 birthday weekends at Nokeng so far this year, needless to say we will return in future as this has been a memorable experience to say the least. The boma, swimming pool, the river...everything was amazing. a big thank you to the Nokeng staff for their hospitality!

We booked for our annual time away with friends over New Year.( Not the greatest time to go as it is VERY hot) Our cottages were not ready when we arrived and they had to run around finding crockery, cutlery and glasses and a microwave- of course this was once we found management. There is no reception really, or at... More

All the guests after "cheap but not great", have enjoyed their stay and the personal service at Nokeng fully. There is a reason for adhering to booking in times at venues, especially in high season for guests booking out in the morning, for the next guests to book in the afternoon. We have tried to accommodate them and as they... More

We loved our time at Nokeng. It was a total escape from everything for us. We stayed in the Karee chalet where we enjoyed virtual isolation to enjoy walks on the path, dips in the pool, and plenty of the sunshine that a Canadian February could never provide. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and appreciated being made aware of... More

My whole family (25 people) came together at Nokeng Eco Lodge over Christmas 2012. We had all our delicious meals served in the restaurant, were able to bring our pets, and had amazing service and accommodation. All the staff were polite and efficient, and we felt we were "at home". We'll absolutely hold all our familt (and other!) gatherings at... More

Nokeng Eco Lodge offers a nice bushveld breakaway at attractive rates. The lodge is located next to the Elands river, with easy access (dirt road in very good condition). There is also the option to have dinner and breakfast. Also some playing area for kids and a big swimmingpool. The staff is very friendly. I would strongly recommend the "Karee"... More
