We've recently got back from the most perfect two week honeymoon at Constance Halaveli, and its by far and away the best place we have ever stayed. There’s so much to rave about at Constance Halaveli, but to keep this short(ish) we’ll highlight a few things. First of all, as a same sex couple we were a little nervous about how staff and guests might react to us being on honeymoon. Turns out we had nothing to worry about at all, everyone made us feel so special and welcome! Rooms We spent 9 nights in an over water villa, and its just so special when you first walk in and see the space! Rooms are very big and well designed from the massive bed to the dual sinks and wardrobes, our was set up with a special honey message, and welcome champagne and chocolates. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a gorgeous plunge pool, direct access to the ocean and plenty on sun on the deck. We asked for a sunset facing room and weren’t disappointed! For the last 3 nights we upgraded to a beach villa. Very different from the over water with much more outdoor space, including the outdoor bathroom and shower which were great. Its has a totally different vibe to the over water villa, and well worth doing both if you can! Food and Drink The food is outrageously good! I’m not usually keen on seafood but ate so much here. Both a la carte restaurants are fabulous and worth multiple visits. Its nice to have different vibes, from the chic Jing over the water, to barefoot beach grill at Meeru (definitely try the lobster!) The buffet restaurant, Jahaz, is so spectacular on its own – a league above normal resort buffets. The variety and range of food, including many cook-on-requests areas from fresh grilled fish and meats to indulgent deserts. There’s something for everyone and the changing menu means every night offers something new. The cocktails were also great, but it’s the wine of offer that is the real treat and definitely makes it worth going all inclusive! The sommeliers are excellent and will help you choose truly great wines for every meal, we had champagnes, reds, whites and rose’s – the wines in the hotel minibar are also very drinkable and replenished daily. Excursions We did three excursions - sunset fishing, sunset cruise and turtle snorkelling with the first two included in our holiday package. All worthwhile and its nice to get off the island for a couple of hours – the turtle snorkelling was by far away the best thing we did, actually managing to see some turtles and our guide dived down with our GoPro to get magical video footage of them. Snorkelling around the island is really good and you’ll see lots of reef fish, sharks and rays – but the excursions are definitely worthwhile doing for some variety in your day and to see more of this magical island nation. Facilities Constance Halaveli has a great range of motorised and non-motorised water sports equipment, a decent tennis court and a small, but good gym. We used all of them during the stay and is great for providing some variety of those days when you don’t want to lie out on the sun all day (though that was most days for us – soaking in paradise!) Spa The Spa is unreal and again worth a couple of visits. We did the Honey and Couple’s Bliss packages and both were worth every penny. From massages to body scrubs and facials we came away super relaxed and feeling totally rejuvenated. The spa is a must for any guest. Staff Everyone says it, because its true – the thing that makes this place so special is the staff. They are so attentive, friendly and kind from little things like remembering how you like your coffee in the morning to sending fresh aloe vera plant to our room after spotting we had some sunburn. Particular shout outs go to Max in front of house who was great at making us feel so well looked after and offered great tips from snorkelling to sun burn; Naazi and Santoosh in the restaurants who were great fun and always had time for a chat; Ismail who made out 1 year anniversary meal such a special occasion and finally Mohan the sommelier who brought great conversation, never made a wrong choice on wine and introduced us to some fantastic new wines! Really though all the staff go above and beyond and will make sure that your stay at Halaveli is unforgettable. Thanks so much everyone at Halaveli, we’re missing it so much already and hope to be back soon. Andy & Rich…
Me and my wife stayed the property for 3 nights earlier in the month on an all inclusive package I am someone who takes the planning of my holidays very seriously and hopefully this helps a lot of you’ll looking for your perfect holiday in the Maldives What stood out for me in the hotel was that the following - 1. A truly all inclusive package - what was promised is what we got. The drinks, the cocktails everything was perfect. There were over 40 cocktails to chose from and top of that if you wanted something unique the bartender would be delighted to make you something. I truly enjoyed the bar service 2. The overwater villas - perfect spacious villas with great Maldivian taste. Couldn’t recommend them enough 3, The service and hospitality - while you don’t expect anything else from a typical 5* luxury, what stood out for me was that “there was no bad / dull moment” in terms of service or hospitality. There was never a disappointment in terms of service. Shout out to Lucas, Helder, Santosh and all the others for this truly special holiday.…
We spent seven wonderful nights with our adult children in a beach villa at Constance Halaveli in mid-July. Already at the warm reception you could sense the positive and friendly atmosphere in the hotel, which was only further confirmed the following days. The hotel invites - in the middle of the Indian Ocean, away from any hustle and bustle - both to relax, but also offers exciting excursions, such as guided snorkeling tours. Positive, welcoming and friendly atmosphere is warmly exemplified by every staff member, who was always there to help the visitor. One always feels in good hands, which is not only due to the very professional and open-hearted staff, but also to the wonderful Beach Villa and the great food. The Beach Villa also offers four adults enough space to relax, at their own pool, beach area or in the very nice rooms. The food buffet was also very extensive in the morning, at noon and in the evening and always in the best quality - also here from the food and the service. In the evening, there was also the option of dining in two equally high-quality a la carte restaurants. The beautifully located and equally friendly staffed bar crowned the culinary experience. Ultimately, the Constance Halaveli can be unconditionally recommended, the only remaining downer is the longing for the next stay at the Constance Halaveli, for the beautiful nature, the good food, the beautiful premises and the warm staff. We are very grateful to the Constance team for this wonderful experience and are already looking forward to our certainly timely return. Until then we remain in dear greetings to the entire team The Westenberger family…
From the first moment we felt comfortable around the island. The warm welcome, the quick check-in process, the great nature, the spacious villa (20) with lots of privacy and the excellent food. But what really made the stay unique were the people who work there. Everyone - without exception - was genuinely friendly and interested. If you wanted to, they were always available for a short chat. Always attentive and happy to do their job. After our visits to Constance Le Prince Maurice and Constance Moofushi, here too - this is obviously part of the company's philosophy - just like the excellent food and the incredible wine selection in the wine cellar. Housekeeping was extremely thorough and there were three staff members in the villa (Ibrahim), in the garden (Saiful) and by the pool (Almeeh) several times a day. Thanks to the entire restaurant team (Mohamed on behalf) and to Hassan, who perfectly summed up the motto of our holiday: "You come as a guest and leave as a friend". Thanks also to Lucas (Shakira😎) and Maks for a lot of fun and to "KC", Prabath and Jean Pierre for the pleasant conversations. We hereby expressly apologise to all those whose names we have not listed here - it's actually not fair, because they also contributed significantly to our recovery. But we will be back in September because we liked it so much.…
Fabulous island with superb staff and facilities. We went for three weeks - slightly concerned it may be too long but could happily have remained there another few weeks. The whole island and hotel facilities are beautiful, with a terrific bar, three restaurant areas, spa, gym, water sports and tasteful villas. We opted for an over-water villa as they are spacious as well as gorgeous but the stand out features were the plunge pool, daily fruit platters, champagne gifts and the truly excellent staff. Each one of them greeted you with a genuine smile and good morning/afternoon/evening. This went from the office staff to the gardeners. Serving staff are unfailingly polite yet very personable and good fun whilst still remaining professional. Special thanks must go to Gasim, Santosh, Max and Rasheed - worthy of particular mention as their service was faultless as well as great fun. We felt very well looked after. Also the sommeliers enjoyed sharing their expertise and encouraging a 'guess the wine region' game with my husband, much to his delight. The resort is never complacent though and we were often asked for feedback and if there was anything that could be improved upon, be that in the villas, menu selection or facilities on offer. We availed of the amazing spa and especially enjoyed a two hour couples massage treatment where the ladies were most skilful. We also made good use of the gym where I received sound advice on how to use the equipment. Food choices were fabulous and the chefs always willing to go the extra mile. We must also mention Prabath who responded immediately to a small issue with our pool and had it sorted within minutes. Clarence also was instrumental in ensuring my husband got to see the Ireland v All Blacks rugby - on our own TV! One happy husband to see it and also to enjoy the result. Highly recommended resort in fact before we left we decided to return next year as so many guests do. An outstandingly well managed resort. Heaven indeed. Loved it all.…
Part 1 Hello dear Constance Halaveli team. After 16 days in Paradis, it was very difficult for us to return to our everyday life. Already on the first day we felt at home with you. We were very welcomed, all our wishes were fulfilled during our stay and our expectations were exceeded. Many of you have grown very close to our hearts and therefore it was even harder to say goodbye. We would like to thank you all very much. Many thanks to Naazi, Daria, Nazareile, Roshelle, who infected us every day with their positive nature and a smile on their faces. Thank you to the very attentive waiters who have become especially dear to us. Thanks to Hussain, Wajeeh, Santhos, Shahid, Sahoom, ... Also many thanks to the Summelier DJ who provided us with 🤏 wine. Also a big thank you to the kitchen who spoiled us with many delicacies. Here we would like to mention by name Malith, Mohan, Jude, Jabbu. At dinner, there was a wide selection of different delicious dishes in the three restaurants. …
The resort is beautiful in the true sense of the word, the view is very beautiful, the room facilities were luxurious, the restaurants are wonderful and the food is delicious. The service from the resort team was outstanding and professional.
I stayed with my family including my 8 year old son in a water villa for 5 nights. It was an amazing experience, right from the location, views, food, housekeeping and service. Chef Madan took great care of our food requirements. He dished out tasty Indian dishes as requested and took care of all our dietary needs. Nafiul, our housekeeping staff was amazing in his work and made up our room twice daily and made us feel so fresh… My son was very happy and looked forward to returning back to the villa after our excursions… great job guys… will definitely visit again.
Where to start... We just came home from a week's stay at Halaveli, and couldn't be more pleased and happy. This was our third stay at Halaveli, and we went with our children aged 11 and 13. I have never in my life cried when I've left a hotel before, but to leave the wonderful team at Halaveli was just too moving to us all, I sobbed... The properties and beaches and activities you can choose from are just perfect, so I won't go on about that. What stands out is the people, the most dedicated team you could ever wish for, and they all will go way and beyond to make this the best holiday of your life. Nothing is a problem for them, and everything can be solved. I can truly say that it felt that we left a group of close friends when we left the island, and the memories this team have created for our children and us are something we will for ever be extremely grateful for. Management team, represented by JP and Max while we were visiting, they are STARS - always checking in on us and helped us out with everything and were just brilliant, they are truly meant to be working with what they do. JP, for instance bringing our son's cap personally back to our villa after it flew away to the sea will be something he'll remember for life, thank you - you will always be special to our family! Max also made our stay so special by taking such good care of us during our stay and clearly has a passion for what he does, sharing personal stories and making sure we always had what we needed and more. The restaurant-team, what a treasure; the food made by the great Vinay and all his magnificent chefs is amazing, and if you by any chance will miss something at the buffet they for sure can fix it for you. There were a lot of familiar faces from our last visits at Halaveli, which also is a great sign. Mr Rasheed and his team are just fantastic and served us in the best possible way and even presenting to me some fantastic Maldivian dishes after they learned that I'm into spicy food, such a lovely treat! Naazi (our daughter will for ever adore you), Maalith, Hassan, Santosh, Wajeeh, Shahid, Pattie, Nasari, Zaheem, Gasim (and I'm so sorry if I've forgotten any names) are all so special and lovely in their own way and creates a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurants, and you can clearly see that they enjoy working together. Naape and Vishnan by the pool are also true stars, making every guest feel special and serving treats and drinks throughout the day with huge smiles and great stories. Drinks made by the terrific Bandara, Anu and Mari in the Jahaz bar, amazing menu of coctails and mocktails. Also huge kudos to the outstanding sommelier-team, this time with Vincent, DJ and Nishan. The knowledge and passion they possess is impressive, and as a newly graduated sommelier myself, it was pure joy to have new and super interesting discussions with these guys to every meal and they truly gave us so many great wine-experienses throughout our stay. The wine-list itself is also highly impressive! I must also mention the terrific housekeeping-team, making sure the premises look impeccable at all times. Our villa was taken extremely well care of by the lovely Nafiul, always with a smile and very helpful. We said before going to Halaveli this time that this probably would be our last visit there, in order to next time try something different - but after this more than perfect family vacation, we just aren't sure any more. Halaveli and the fantastic people there will always have a special place in our hearts. We can from the bottom of our hearts highly recommend a visit to Constance Halaveli!…
Amazing experience! The perfect place to be at the Maldives with an amazing service! It simply can’t get any better than this! Super comfortable rooms with a pool over the sea. All the hotel staff are adorable with a constant smile on their faces.
