Booked a 4 night stay in the Chalet from Australia (easy and hassle free) for a family event in the area. God I wish I could live here! If you're looking for seclusion, privacy and one of the most stunning locations I've ever stayed in, you need look no further! The chalet is spacious, fully equipped for self-catering, AMAZING beds,...

My friends, who have stayed here on several occasions, took me to this wonderful hideaway place for three nights - and what a fabulous place it is. We stayed in the Tree House and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were two bedrooms and the beds were super comfortable and clean. Plenty of wardrobe/drawer space was...

My bride and I spent part of our honeymoon here, lovely quiet place, the studio unit was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and helpful, not that we saw much of them. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank-you.

I would definitely stay at Fern Lodge again. The apartement is spacious and comfortable. Well equiped kitchen. Walking distance (15min) to town and nice restaurants. Very friendly owners - and dogs! Offers a nice collection of DVDs you can watch on a cold NZ-evening.

I stayed at the lovely studio for only 1 night, but arriving on a rainy day gave me plenty of time to enjoy the property. It is a large unit which contains a king size bed + a single bed, and has a kitchen fully equipped for cooking. It has a TV and a DVD player, and you can borrow...

Cute cottage in a lovely bush setting with a very friendly host (and very sweet older dog). Beds were very comfortable and the room was well laid out. However the shower was terrible - very high water pressure which came at you like a bullet! Very difficult to control (all over the place) although provided us with some laughs. Simply...

Arriving at Fern Lodge after a gruelling then wonderful ride from Auckland on my rented GN 250 sloth steed I was greeted by Ray. Instantly engaging, eager to encourage me to explore the delights of the region and so very welcoming. I was excited and instantly nourished to be walked up the winding stone path through the trees to be...

A lovely large room which fitted four of us comfortably. So wonderful to stay in such a clean place with a sunny airy atmosphere. Wonderful feeling of being up in the trees! The beds were extremely comfortable and the information we were told when checking in on places to visit nearby helped us plan our weekend. Thank you!

We stayed here for four nights in April in 'The Studio' unit and can't recommend it enough. The location was great, just ten minutes walk down the hill to Coromandel Town but felt really secluded and tucked away. The hosts (especially Ray) were helpful and welcoming, the deck out the front was great to relax on at the end of...
