Needed to get away to celebrate a birthday, anniversary and retirement that we couldn't do earlier in the year due to Covid. We found that St. Lucia was one of the few places that was welcoming US citizens. We decided to book a trip there and researched a resort to go to. We found Serenity at Coconut Bay and was not disappointed. St. Lucia's Covid protocols were not difficult to do and they do allow a 7 day Covid test as opposed to 3 days that many other locations require. When we arrived at the airport, the health check took about 20 minutes, immigration and customs were a breeze and then we were on our way to Serenity which took all of 5 minutes to arrive at. The resort is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We would say that the staff is the highlight of the resort and they did everything to make our trip enjoyable and exceeded our expectations. The food at the Greathouse was some of the best food that we ever experienced. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chefs, Roy and Leo were excellent. Roy made us a surf and turf dinner on our special poolside cabana dinner that was to die for. The lobster tail was huge and delicious. We probably had lobster 4 times during our stay. They spare no expense on food. Our beach dinner was also amazing. Everyone at Serenity gets shuttled to the beach for a remarkable beachside dinner that was magical and romantic. The wait staff was also outstanding and service was spot on. Everyone was so friendly and willing to accommodate special requests. Special shoutouts to Ali, Natasha, Hannah and Kimberley for making our stay special. The bar staff were all great and after a couple of days knew exactly what we drank and had it ready without asking. Loved the frozen Mudslides and they made a killer mocktail for my wife, Strawberry, banana and coconut creme. If I didn't want alcohol, that was my go to drink too. Housekeeping went above and beyond. We loved the personal handwritten notes everday and the towel pals were always fun. The room was kept spotless. The Butlers were always attentive to our needs. They drew a romantic bubble bath for my wife every evening and were always asking if they could do anything for us. They made all our excursion reservations and dinner reservations. Thanks you to Arshan, Cornell and the whole staff. The groundskeepers did a masterful job of keeping the grounds looking like paradise. They would pick Coconuts for use to drink. Very refreshing. Thank you to Jonathan, Lias, Akin and Ian. The pool was refreshing and a perfect temperature. The hot tub next to the pool was relaxing. The rooms were awesome. Spacious, great for having breakfast outside. The gazebo was great for relaxing in and enjoying the outdoors. The plunge pool was great, but really needed to be heated a bit. We did go to Coconut bay to use the lazy river which was fun. The Jerkhouse was great for lunch and the best jerk chicken I've every had. Thank you again for an amazing experience, we can't wait to go back.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at Serenity again this year March 2020 and brought 2 friends along with us that is how much of an impact this small piece of paradise had on us, we never usually return to the same place. It was great to see many of the same teams continuing to work there and provide true hospitality service one based on generosity, a warm and friendly welcome every time, special care and willingness to help. We loved being able to choose freshly cooked a la carte food every day and the humour of the waiting staff from Tessa, Titi, Chard through to Marista and Ginel, all guided by the expertise of Cathy and Natoya made it even better.. One thing for anyone wanting to truly relax and not have to do a thing spend a day in your own private beach Cabana with everything you need all arranged by your butler, we were lucky as Angus was our butler again this year and we love him. They even have hammocks in the sea now. If you love a Spa treatment or 3 then do not hesitate to arrange a relaxing facial or couples massage, Toyah and Alphia even come to your suite to do this. I would highly recommend Abigail though if you love reflexology. I even managed to collect and create my own towel zoo (sorry Vaniah and Karla in housekeeping for hoarding your towels), amazing how creative some can be! You know a place is well run when you see senior managers integrating with staff and guests alike, leading by example and engaging with people, not tucked away in an office. We will certainly come back once all this craziness around the world has settled down. Esther & Oliver

Unfortunately we only had 2.5 days here but what a fantastic 2 days. Staff are very attentive and treat you as if they already knew you. Room was beyond our expectations! Huge room and private outdoor area. Rooms were peaceful and quiet. All room amenities were top notch. Fun entertainment both nights. Lobster bbq on beach and different delicious food stations around pool for final night with live performance. Food was absolutely the best! Staff COVID compliant. Free Transportation just minutes from airport. We will return again. Best kept secret!

Serenity at Coconut Bay was a piece of heaven! The staff are the nicest people and always try to make your day(s) extra special. Even during a pandemic, the food was fabulous and the chefs even made us a special 25th wedding anniversary meal of lobster and steak! We also were able to take full advantage of the grand romance package which we would highly recommend! Arshan the butler was incredible helpful, sweet, funny and his laugh is infectious. The grounds are pristinely clean and well landscaped. We loved coming in from a long day of excursions and slipping into our plunge pool. We were happy to extend special "kudos" upon check-out to Arshan, Kimberly, Natasia, Nerissa, and Cornell who went above and beyond during our stay. A definite return visit will be in the cards for the future!

We chose this hotel due to the private rooms and high end accommodations. We traveled during COVID-19 restrictions for our honeymoon and were so thankful we were able to visit St. Lucia during this time. Serenity did an immaculate job keeping guests safe and pampered throughout our visit. Our favorite part of our vacation by far was meeting some of the people that call St Lucia their home. It was such a pleasure getting to talk to staff and learn about their daily lives, the culture of the island, and what St. Lucia means to them. We were blown away by the kindness of each and every staff member. The servers Tessa, Ali, Carl, Delon, and Hannah did an amazing job providing us with whatever we needed throughout our trip. The bartenders Lez, Lee, and Tyler were the best bartenders we have ever met! Incredibly friendly and ready to make you some of the best cocktails you will ever have! The butlers Ray and Arshan were so accommodating and happy to cater to our every wish and need. One day we went out snorkeling and the butlers had the incredible cooks prepare us trays of fresh fruits, sandwiches, and chips and salsa. all for us! we were amazed at this detail and so thankful. We will never forget the "coconut guys" or the groundskeepers Akim, Ian, Jonathan, and Lias for providing us with very special and fresh coconuts. Such a memory we will cherish forever! The food here is exceptional as well. The chef, Leo has a special daily menu that features lobster a couple times a week. BEST LOBSTER EVER!! if he asks if you want another, say yes!! Of course this place is the best, it's Serenity! All of the accommodations such as the pool, room, and restaurant were incredible. But again, our favorite part of being here was the exceptional service and wonderful people we will consider friends forever! We cannot wait to return to St Lucia one day soon. Sincerely, Dena and Cameron Lewis
