Wow....what a fabulous pub!! The most warmest of welcomes and we would definitely recommend. As the Motorhome Adventures Facebook Page owner I'm always looking for suitable places to stay and The Halfway House is perfect. Fantastic facilities, in a superb location, serving wonderful food... the chicken and lamb curry are delicious. Ideally located for visiting towns such as Bridgnorth, Ludlow...

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend in a room adjacent to the main building. The inn is in an ideal location for visting Bridgnorth, Severn Valley Railway and Ironbridge. Peter, Matt and the rest of the staffs hospitality is great, you can't fault the customer service. We received a lovely warm welcome and had breakfast and evening meals during...

We stayed at the halfway House inn for 4 nights in our Caravan last week with some old friends and despite what others have said we thought it was great. The toilet and shower facilities are a bit limited but come on at £20 per night for a Serviced Hard Standing Pitch. We are in the Pub on two nights...

Arrived on Good Friday to find that the site owner, Peter Williams, had cocked up and already sited someone on one of the pitches allocated to us and our friends. He did admit his mistake but when I was not happy with his first alternative suggestion he simply said "well I suggest we call it quits and you can go...

Dreadful, absolutely dreadful. We booked a pitch in advance with hardstanding, electric hook-up and water service with space to park a car or erect an awning. We got a grass pitch accessed over a good bump, within two feet of the toilet block. There was no water service or grey water disposal of any kind. There was an electric hook-up....

Over priced with the most appalling facilities, owners are belligerent and really don't give a toss, when I tried to complain I was told if I didn't like it I could do one.. Definitely one to avoid at all costs.

We went to the Halfway house last Friday for a meal and a pint, we had passed many times and always felt it an inviting little traditional country pub. It didn't disappoint very traditional and very welcoming lovely open fire going as it was chilly out doors, the staff and landlord were very chatty any pleasant and the food was...

This is a review of the pub rather than the rooms. We hosted an event for runners (from Bridgnorth area) and cyclists (from Reading area) and wanted to base ourselves at The Halfway House Inn. From the off Peter and his son were very helpful. Most of the riders booked accommodation here. Most were happy enough with what they paid,...

We were charged £45 for a 'Super Pitch' for 2 nights which included ehu, nothing else. No water tap or waste. We visited the week before and were glad to see that the dumped bit of carpet had been moved from one of the entrances. The only reason we came back was to join friends otherwise we probably wouldn't have...
