We arrived on Friday lunchtime, they provided homemade scones and a pot of tea. The scones were yummy! The room was okay. Next morning, we had breakfast, lots of choice, homemade bread, cereal, fruit, toast, crumpets, eggs, smoked salmon, potatoes cakes. It was so amazing, especially for vegetarians. The couple is so friendly. The parking is £5.00 for 24 hours which is good. I... More

Lovely little place, nice decor. Peter and Gail are charming hosts. Room has everything you need and is comfortable. Breakfast was superb with lovely organic freshly cooked food. Very good value. Located maybe 10-15 mins from the beach. Parking is on the street and you need to pay the council rates (I think around 5/day).

Peter is very friendly, informative and helpful. It was pleasant surprise to be offered tea and home made scones upon my arrival. During the evening Peter gave me a bottle of real ale whilst I listen to the football match as I hadn't been able to get to the pub due to having a dog. There is plenty of choice... More

I stayed for a night with Peter and Gail when I was moving back to Brighton. After a long search online for reasonably-priced accommodation, and having been scared off by reviews of some of the cheaper hotels, I was fortunate enough to stumble across At wilbury on booking.com. I'm so glad I kept looking because this is one of the... More

We felt thoroughly at home from the moment we arrived. Peter and Gail are charming hosts, who do everything possible to make their guests welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was memorable, delicious organic food, much of it home made. Peter is a mine of information about the town, restaurants, what's on, local places to... More

I needed a place to stay for 3 nights near to a course venue and Wilbury popped up on trip advisor as being a good place to stay. I couldn't agree more and I can now understand why they get such good reviews too. Peter and his wife Gail are the most warm, thoughtful, nothings-too-much trouble, efficient hosts. The room... I stayed here recently, while visiting my daughter. Had a very warm welcome, and the bed was so comfortable, I could of stayed there all day. The breakfast was huge, and delicious, and mainly home made. Would definitely recommend staying there.

We visited At Wilbury for the second time and it was even better than the first. We were given a lovely welcome with tea and home made scones. Later we went into Brighton on the bus which leaves from just around the corner. We had a spendid supper at a Thai cafe and then went to Caradines cockney singalong at... More

I arrived at 10:30pm on the eve of my son's graduation and was greeted like an old friend! An immediate invitation to tea in the kitchen with Claire and two other guests, after being shown my very comfortable room, made me feel completely at home. Following a good night's sleep, I enjoyed home-made muesli & yoghurt and the best vegetarian... More

Stayed a week here. I chose it for proximity to where I was working and for its quiet location off the seafront. Peter was a great host and made me feel at home. As I'm not a big breakfast person, Peter made sure I didn't go hungry the rest of the day. Bread and cereals all home-made and very tasty... More
