Stayed end Aug - early Sept. 3 nights. Would have left after night one if hadn't paid in advance. We had rooms 2 & 3. Room 2 is smaller, but quieter as has an inner door which thankfully keeps bar and dog noise acceptable, but has a radiator locked on so with our warm evenings it was necessary to commandeer...

I have been to this pub a few times as it is close to my mothers B&B. John the owner is an exceptional host and the food is great. If you're in the area I strongly recommend you give it a visit. Out of the two pubs in the village it is definitely the one to go to.

Four of us recently had dinner at the White Horse Inn. Warm welcome on arrival. The food was very well prepared and served in a very professional manner by lovely staff. We have booked again for late September and are looking forward to returning. Well done to all.

Visited whilst on holiday in Suffork last week. Set in a quiet village i visited with my wife and although we had not booked we managed to get a table as it was only early evening. We both decided on the Pie of the Day which was Steak and Kidney pie. At just over £13 each we hoped it would...

Booked a table at short notice. Staff very friendly and efficient. Whitebait was exceptional and notable for absence of heavy breadcrumbs or batter..just A1 fish..Friend had battered cod which he remarked exceptionally fresh and white..not grey as encounters elsewhere. My main course was a Goan Fish curry which was a true curry in all senses and homemade and unique to...

We called in here for dinner about 7pm on a Friday evening on the way back from the beach at Dunwich. The pub wasn't that busy but several tables were booked so no room inside; as it was a warm evening we decided to sit in the unoccupied garden. The first problem we had was trying to get to the...

We arrived just before they opened at 6pm and spent a few minutes sitting in their nice beer garden. The staff were very friendly and offered us a good table and brought the menus etc. They have a good range of pub food, fresh fish, vegetarian options and a pie of the day. We had spaghetti carbonara, local sausages and...

This was always going to be tricky. Eleven of us camping locally, all turning up at different times. So we booked for 7pm, then changed it at short notice to 7.30 then 8pm. I didn't envy the staff having to deal with all this palaver especially as there was another party of 8 arriving for dinner at 8. Well in...

Although I did not stay at the inn, I did visit The White Horse Inn for my evening meals and drinks. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious excellent value for money. The menu was really varied with a changing specials board. I'll definitely be visiting again!
