I stayed at this hotel for two nights in October. Great location, beautiful beach. The twin room I stayed in was clean but basic, I was disappointed that there was no tea / coffee making facilities available in the room. Great continental breakfast although the staff serving coffee were very slow on the Sunday morning when the restaurant was busy....

Decent hotel situated beautifully at the beach. Friendly staff. Restaurant is recomnendable with incredible sunset view. Parking on the boulevard is relatively cheap with spaces available off-season. Less space during summer.

We stayed here for two nights. We had the "Wilhelmina room". Bathroom is too small. Diner was so so. We had a two co, breakfast was good. Location at the beach is perfect. There are different restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. We parked our car in parking "t Waaigat". €10/day.

We stayed in this hotel very last minute when we decided we weren't ready to leave the beach. The location is awesome, an 1 minute from the beach. The staff is friendly but the rooms were very a bit expensive (due to the location) and it was very warm with no air conditioning on a 21c degree day. I can...

Stayed here several times over the course of the last years. My positives and negatives: + Staff is really friendly + Breakfast is good + Location is great, especially after the relatively recent renewel of the coastline (with underground parking) +/- Restaurant downstairs is fine, but not cheap for the meals you get. - Hotel itself is outdated. Ranging from...

Stayed here for one night whilst cycling through Holland. Receptionists were welcoming and very helpful. Parking in a private garage at the back of hotel for our bikes. Room was lovely and we had a view of the seafront towards the beach. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was really good. Wish we'd stayed here longer. The area surrounding was really good....

Basic but comfortable rooms. Good value. Couple of English tv channels. Good wifi. You need to pay for parking but the room itself is good value. Great breakfast with good coffee. Use the restaurant in the hotel the food is excellent.

This is a lovely hotel perfect for a weekend right in front of the beach. The food is very nice and the staff is very kind. We enjoyed the breakfast as well with the beautiful view and the rooms are small but clean.

I stayed at the Hotel Noordzee on a recent trip for a meeting at ESTEC, the ESA headquarters. Most people attending the meeting stayed in Noordwijk, but the maps showed that this hotel was closer, a mere 20 minutes walk away. The hotel was very nice. A good breakfast selection on their first-floor dining room with nice views across the...

We paid EUR 165 for a seaview room. Large, but very old fashioned decoratio with some 'gold' elements in the bathroom and a pink shading mirror (?). Unfortunately, we had a miscommunication and we thought we had booked for 3 nights. During our morning walk the staff had packed our luggage... Very good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Katwijk, historicly known as a rustic fishermanvillage, has not yet lost its authentic sphere, despite its location in the heart of the Randstad. Directly in front of the hotel lies a clean and broad beach and just around the corner, there is a cosy shopping-centre with many boutiques. In the near surroundings of Katwijk you will find a widespread sand dunes and nature area, that is perfect for people who love to walk, and for the bicycle lovers there are many routes available. For a fun day out with the kids you can visit attraction park Duinrell in Wassenaar or the space museum Space Expo in Noordwijk. ... more   less
