Stayed here for 2 nights while on buisness. My first couple of points must be the hotel is spottlessly clean with not a speck of dirt anywhere. Also it is postioned well just away from the town centre a short walk from all the resturants, cafes and bars. Unfortuantly these are the only positives. The rooms are small and functional... More

One night stay whilst on cycling holiday-pretty much only hotel in small town so captive audience-on checking in key was left under a shell outside front door (owner telephoned earlier to advise this) as owner presumably had other things to do than welcome paying guests ( large festival in town during our visit resulted in virtually every person we met... Great location close to main attractions, but also 50 metres from cycle path/walkway circling the perimeter of the town (I ran along the path early in the morning - the whole circuit is only about 3 kilometres :) ). Great shower! Owners were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was the 'attic' room - lovely and light, but the slats... More

Probably the best choice in this small Zeeland town, located within easy walking distance of all the sights and restaurants. Convenient car parking available directly opposite the hotel. Rooms are comfortably cozy and spotlessly clean. Only meal served is breakfast which is perfectly OK. Do request a room on the first floor if possible to avoid the much mentioned steep... More

Just far too expensive for what it is, do heed the warnings about the steep staircase, it is more than just steep the treads are very narrow to almost non-existent toward the top, it then goes into a very tight spiral. If it’s difficult to get the luggage up the stairs it is a nightmare to get it back down.

I slept here for one night. Staff is friendly. rooms are small as well as the shower and toilet room. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. sleeping quality OK. Internet I did not try, since i arrived late late night, with key at front-desk. So I could not obtain internet username and password. TV was ancient small tube-tv; did not try... More

We were happy here in our light filled up 2 steep flights of stairs room. We had great views of the town from our window, and everything we could want was a short walk away. Mariska was helpful, and the breakfast delicious, and charmingly offered. Our shower had plenty of hot water, and our bed was comfortable. We thought the... More

We stayed here in August 2012. This hotel has an alleged nautical theme. It was old with a steep staircase, and uneven floors. There was no guest bar area. The room was very small, and the shower / toilet was even smaller and very cramped. The breakfast was a bit of an egg hunt, literally. All the breakfast items were... More

After reading the Tripadvisor ratings of the Hotel Zierikzee, I was really looking forward to my stay there after a cycle tour of Zeeland. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite OK. The hotel itself is relatively "worn out". Nothing works very well and the sleeping quality even though very quiet is poor. But in... More
