Staying there for 2 nights (visiting horse stables) I must say that the stairs are quite an adventure, dangerously steep. The room was ok, not more. Lot's of noise between the rooms as well as from the stairway. Breakfast - as others mentioned - could be somehow richer. Paid € 74.50 per night including breakfast, which is too much compared... Clean hotel at a good price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tip: Ask for a room "in the other building" since the stairs are a lot easier to manage than those in the main building and there is also less noise from other guests. Breakfast could potentially offer a little more variety.

Nice clean rooms in a simple hotel - the hotel seems to have moved down the street into another premises, so the photograph is out of date. The stairs are very steep, but we discovered a lift. Handy location for travelling and a great place to stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here with my mother-in-law for 2 nights, and we were made very welcome. There were some problems with access for the elderly lady, but these were solved in a very professional way. Breakfast was well presented and left no wishes open. The hotel offers very good value for money, you have to take into account the age and... More

Clean and pleasant. Rooms are comfortable. Reasonable price for bed & breakfast ( single 65 euros) Very close to the heart of Hulst. 40 minutes to Brugge, 35 minutes to Ghent and 30 minutes to Antwerp (Park & Ride), Nature Reserve close by just over the border in Belgium all by car. Plenty of Bars, Bistros and Restaurants (Some 40... More

We stayed here for two nights and cannot fault the service, cleanliness and value. The rooms décor was very simple and old fashioned by some standards but we were very happy with the facilities including hair dryer and very good wi fi in the bedroom (Room 14). Reception and breakfast were located a few doors down the street in a sister... More

Wonderful little hotel a mere 200 meters from the charming town centre. The owners helped by their son made us feel right at home. We inquired about bringing a dog and they have one room that can be used for that conveniently located on the ground floor with ample outside space for the dog to lay down and rest and... More

We arrived in Hulst with the temperatures touching 35C. The owners immediately made us feel at home with their excellent English. The hotel has no air con however they had tried to accommodate us in the coolest room. It was a bit warm so sleep was not great but breakfast made up for it. The owners put on a fantastic... More

Our Hosts at the hotel were helpful and attentive both on arrival and especially at breakfast. Their English was first class. The breakfast itself was overflowing the table and both fresh and good quality. Breads, croissants, toast, jams and spreads and an ample cheese and meat plate washed down with more tea and coffee than we could manage. One down... More

This was one of the nicer budget hotels visited whilst going through Holland/Belgium/France. Room was clean and airy, and very good value for the price - about the equivalent of a reasonable class business hotel in the Uk. Parking was secure, in a locked compound at the rear of the hotel. The adjoining restaurant provided good food also. We were... More
