Hmmmm, how much use does it have to write a review about a hotel that will be completely renovated soon? It is in need of renovation. The rooms are decent enough but seriously need attention (though the bathroom had been done not so long ago). They started building next door, if you stay at the hotel now you get a... More

The hotel has 4*, but it feels more as a 3* hotel. But not for long! The new hotel will open in 2018. So we need to be patient to see what Sergio Hermans will serve us then. In the meantime, it's ok for a night if you stay for dinner. There is no disturbance from the construction site during... More

The hotel is a 4* hotel but needs renovation (is ongoing now I believe). Cold atmosphere in the public parts and rooms. Rooms are comfortable (with espresso machine and pads, good matress,...) though but outdated. We didn't try the wellness.

Rooms are clean with a small balcony. The people at the reception are friendly. There is a wellness (sauna, Turkish steambath, a swimming pool and a infrared sauna plus a whirlpool that cost 7,5 Euro when you want to use it). There are bathrobes in the room. The beds are good. Enough parkingspace. The breakfast was very good ! The... More

Has once been a four star and will probably be four stars again after rebuilding (Strandresidentie) but is not a four star at this point in time. The prices however are still four stars. The breakfast is rather a Pure C credit than a hotel credit. Everything needs a refresh: rooms, swiiming pool, sauna area, entrance, etc.

Hotel has it's age, but the rooms are clean, bathroom is renovated, insulation is perfect as is the bedding. Room offers splendid views on the beach and sea (with balcony). Light in the room isn't that cosy.... There will be a brand new hotel in teh near future. Staff is friendly, breakfast buffet is complete and served in the bar... More

What a shame - went for a relaxing weekend with my daughter and were hoping to use the wellness. The wellness area was not very pleasing to the eye and the steambath and sauna closed until 15.00 :( We even had to pay €7.50 for the Jacuzzi which was then drained after 20 mins! Luckily the hotel is being rebuilt... More

We stay in this hotel because of the famous Michelin star restaurant 'Pure C' . You can book a weekender, room plus restaurant reservation, a perfect romantic weekend. Have a few Sergio Herman signature Gin Tonics in the bar of the hotel, followed by a Michelin star diner at Pure C and after those stunning dishes, finish the evening next... More

I visited this hotel for 2 nights in August its location is tip top right on the beach with a view straight on to the ocean. The entrance is a bit shabby with just a few steps up from the car park to a small lobby. Reception friendly but strangely for 5* not open after 8pm.Rooms clean, quite small, good... More

We had dinner at Pure C a few months ago and we stayed one night at the Strandhotel. Our room was the room next to the entrance which annoyed me because I like silence and privacy. We didn't hear much from the room next to us, so that's a plus. The room was small, but clean and cosy. We had... More
