We just spent 4 nights at Monte do Peral me, my husband and our 10-month old baby. We had an extremely relaxing holiday far away from - everything. Only thing that could be heard in evenings were the cows and their bells from the nearby fields. Owners are extremely nice and friendly. Breakfast is great, large selection of cold options...

It was our 2nd stay at this lovely Monte. The rooms are impeccable, clean well equipped and modern. Clever cooling system keeps the rooms at the right temperature in the blistering sun. Lovely owners. The infinity pool overlooking the savannah is a dream. Monte do Peral is a great place to start your exploration of Alentejo: high quality / modest...

I've stayed at Monte do Peral 4 times over the years, and just realized I never reviewed it on TripAdvisor. Exceptional place to relax, away from all the noise, fuzz and stress that most joints have on high season. Perfect spot to get to know that part of Alentejo, with very cool rooms, a great breakfast and very friendly owners...

Beautiful views, luxurious rooms, great food and friendly owners. The cooling system in the rooms is wonderful. The rooms are cool without the noise of ac. The sky at night is clear as there is no light pollution. It's so quiet and peaceful and the gorgeous pool was empty every time we used it. I would love to return.

If you're looking for peace and quiet in na increadible location, come to Monte do Peral. It is a little Paradise, perfet for a break from the complications and stress of daily life. About 2 and half hours from Lisbon, deep in the Alentejo region, surrounded by nature (the soothing Alentejo plains) and the most typical little villages, Monte do...

An Alentejo house with a 5 star service. The owners although not local, embody the art of hospitality, the rooms are precious and well maintained, the public areas are pleasant. Breakfast is just fabulous. Enjoy the tranquility of the Alentejo next to the Poolside and enjoy a magnificent sunset in the evening.

The main hotel building appears as a traditional regional house surrounded by a cluster of single storey buildings which are the rooms. Expertly landscaped and planted it settles comfortably into a classic Alentejo rural landscape of widely spaced holm oaks, olive trees and birdsong. The rooms and outside sitting areas have extensive views through the trees over the undulating countryside...

Lovely place to stay for a couple of days, comfortable rooms, nice pool and great service. There is an outdoor kitchen where you can prepare food and BBQ if you feel like staying in for an evening. The garden is lovely and in the area there are some nice towns to go to, for example the marble town Vila Vicosa...

Quality hotel in Alentejo close to culturally interesting cities in Portugal and Spain.logistically interesting stop when travelling in the border regions between Spain and Portugal. Because a damm has been build in the neighbourhood, a large lake increased the humidity. It is relatively higher than in the rest of the region.
