This property is located at a quiet place with a stunning natural view. Need own vehicle or taxi to reach the place. Though the hotel is near the highway, still you need to walk almost 15 minutes to reach the hotel if you arrived by public transportation. I stayed only one night here. Room was good with adequate facilities. Friendly...

A picturesque setting next to water gives this hotel it's charm. It's proximity to Giethoorn and various cycle routes is a great advantage. The staff, we found to be very friendly, contrary to some other reviews. The rooms were fine. A bit dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very Dutch (and by that I mean hagelslag and boiled eggs!),...

We traveled with friends by boat to this restaurant. The food was very good and the atmosphere lovely. We sat outside overlooking the canal on a warm beautiful day. The service was excellent. We all enjoyed the experience. BTW: you can arrive by car or boat.

We spent a couple of days in this hotel making day tripsto the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is OK, but one should not expect more than a clean room and a good Dutch breakfast. The personnel was polite, but not at all friendly, as one might expect in this isolated area. The restaurant, on the other hand, was out and...

This hotel is 10km outside of Giethoorn on a quiet stretch of road. The reception and service we received was very poor. They didn't appear to like children or having people interrupt conversations among staff. The rooms were fine and the restaurant (which was the only option) was quite good. It appears that they prefer to feed people than host...

The hotel is located on a canal near a nature park. It is absolutely quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a nice selection of hot and cold food. We enjoyed dinner outside by the canal and the food here is also excellent. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We came during peak tulip season which was...

Maybe they just where not in the mood. Very mediocre service and in any case certainly no effort to be friendly. Was it just an off-day? Talking about off-days: the chef had one too. Soggy, half dead pancakes. Don't take the risk eating them. We did not to spoil the party. If you are at such a briljant location, all...

The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the food was amazing - some of the best I've ever had, and even though it was expensive, it was definitely value for money. However, it all went downhill from there. The service was appallingly bad - all bar one of the staff were unfailingly rude, cold, unhelpful, even at some points aggressive; despite...
