Our recent stay at the vacation rental exceeded our expectations in just about every way we could think of. The house itself was a gem - immaculate and newly renovated, with a floor plan that matched exactly what was advertised on the booking website, leaving no room for unpleasant surprises. The interior boasted brand new furniture, adding a touch of modern comfort to our stay. The cleanliness and maintenance of the house was impeccable, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment throughout our visit. However, there was one small hiccup - the garden furniture was not up to the standard of the rest of the house. As you can see from the pictures, it was in very poor condition. However, this minor issue did not detract from the overall wonderful experience and we would happily book another stay.

Had a family weekend. Our house was nice and spacious, as was the lot wherein it was situated. Park is located very close to De Koog. Road plan of the park is a bit confusing. At night it as very quiet and dark. We had a good night's sleep. Park restaurant was a bit outdated. Food from the restaurant nit that good, it is a better idea to into De Koog or visit the local supermarket. I have stayed in parks where staff made a bigger effort. Al in al a reasonably good stay.

Stayed at the Kustpark (now a Roompot establishment) for a family reunion weekend in Texel. From the outset, customer service of the company was truly abysmal. Nothing was included in the price of the rental; you pay extra for bed covers, towels and the final cleaning service (otherwise you'd better pack your cleaning wipes and rubber gloves in order to avoid a significant cleaning fee). Adding these extra services to your booking was no problem, but if you wish to remove one....25 euro administration costs please!
Upon first impressions, the interior of the house was neat and clean. The bedroom and bathroom decor was, however, remarkably dated and spartan. Only single beds and duvets, and lumpy pillows. No proper shower tray and sticky plastic curtain meant the shower room got soaked each time. Garden was very pretty and had a lovely outlook onto the surrounding countryside, although garden furniture was covered in dirt and cobwebs.
With such a beautiful location in the forest, this place has so much potential....just a shame the service of the company and accommodation are such a let down!

The lodge Typ B offered plenty of space for our family with 5 persons. We found a superior equipment including a dishwasher and a fast Wifi. The houses are surrounded by quite a large garden and separated by hedges from the other houses which ensures good privacy. All in all we felt very comfortable in our family home.
Almost daily we went to the leisure pool which offers a lot of fun for families.
Apart from that we rented bikes for the whole week so we could reach the village center and the beach within ten minutes and get around this beautiful island.

Kustpark Texel is in a great location, De Koog, Texel. It's within driving distance of most other towns and villages (under 1 hour) or biking, if you like that! We had a fabulous time biking from De Koog to the Lighthouse and Den Burg, through the dunes and across farmlands. It's a great way to travel.
Our holiday was tainted by the poor service and reception found at Kustpark Texel. The website shows a sparkling, clean and new looking campsite with promises of a "Swimming Paradise". However, the actual results are totally different. We stayed in a chalet, old and sticky with mould in the walls and failing mattresses. The location was okay, rather overgrown and looking like it needed a good renovation. Okay, not a big deal, it's just a place to lay your head. . .
Our first night we had no electricity for two hours. Not really a big deal, but the customer service was terrible. It took an hour alone to actually get someone to come and help with the problem. The reception desk was shut so you have to go through a main call center, who then calls security on the site. Communication was messy. When we went to the reception desk the next day, the staff didn't really care, or even seem to care. The receptionist was more concerned with what was on her computer screen and her response was "yeah, that's annoying". When we talked about compensation (say, a free cleaning), they didn't want to offer us anything.
A few nights later, we were without water for a while. The same response came from the staff. It seems that they aren't really concerned with giving their customers a great holiday.
The "Swimming Paradise" is more like an outdated pool from the 70's/80's. There's one slide and two bubble pools, and again, the staff don't really seem to care all that much.
We didn't even go to the restaurant, it's cheaper and easier to get better quality food in town for a better price. Roompot takes advantage of it's customers by asking ridiculous prices for frozen food!
It's a great location for an okay price. It's not the best holiday park in the world, but if you just need a place to lay your head while you adventure through Texel (a GREAT island) then this is the kind of place for you. Don't expect it to be the warmest of welcomes.....

Park is managed by Roompot these days and allthough the houses are relatively new some other elements can do with an upgrade. The swimming pool is nice and my kids really liked it, please upgrade it a bit. All in all the park is dated.

We spent a most enjoyable couple of hours of our morning out at the Calluna Swim Paradise with many water attractions - slide, waves, current alley, bubble bath, outside fresh air, and shallow area for young children; everything thought about - we were very wary of using the adjoining restaurant for lunch, but it was absolutely brilliant; the food was very good, and the excellent service was well beyond our expectations!!

Great swimming pool well maintained and attentive staff.accommdation functional but would probably benefit from a little TLC. Mattress covers starting to show their age and pillows would be better replaced. Would use again a good 1200m walk to the beach through the woods.

Park: small and expensive minimarket. Restaurant / bar lacked atmosphere, despite christmas decorations. In the restaurant you have a view on the swimmingpool. Which can be smelled, as well as old grease from the kitchen... We did not dare to eat there.... Pool also lacked atmosphere although the boys did not care. They loved it. Park is located on walkingdistance from the Village and the beach. Village is nice with man nice restaurants and shop.
House: we stayed in a chalet. Spacious enough for us, for som days. How ever, it really smelled, especially the master bedroom and toilet. In the kitchen the sint was clogged. We had to fix it before we could use it. Two lights were bbroken. And the sheets had holes in them. We could change them. Chalets are in the far end of the park. Far away from everything.

Visited this park with the whole family. The houses are build quit recently I think and are foreseen with everything you need. The houses are equipped with free wifi and the restaurant, swimming pool and mini market are close by. We visited more parks of Roompot but this one needs to be set as standard for the rest of the parks.

Dit hangt af van het huisje. Voor de zekerheid meenemen lijkt mij. Alleen even sleutel ophalen en tot slot afgeven. Voor de rest hoef je niet met anderen in contact te treden. Zou deze vakantie wel aandurven in deze tijd.
