Is a huge site with separate bungalows and camping sites. We stayed in a 6 person bungalow. It had 3 rooms but all are very tiny. Beds are twin beds and is uncomfortable. Rooms are not sound proof. One bathroom and kitchen. It's okay for a family outing. But not worth the money spent for us as we were 3 couples. Also you have to pay extra for the linen. We stayed for 3 nights and was not impressed much. Better not to keep your expectations so high about the place.

I booked a 8 person bungalow to spend a long weekend with my family. The bungalow was ok. The laying of the bungalow also and we could olso 3 cars in front of the house. It has a big playground for the kids and an ok indoor swimmingpool.
The location of the park was great everything we wanted to was in a range of +/- 20 min drive max. I will go back next time.

What makes this park stand out is the location. It's next to the beach (just 15 minutes through the beautiful dunes) and next to the nature park 'Slufter'. The beaches are wide and sandy, the dunes offer great walking opportunities, you can take a nice walk to the fire house for example, or explore the Slufter. The park is located to the little town of De Cocksdorp, which has a supermarket (cheaper then the one on the park). The bungalows are nicely spread out through the park in a very natural environment. If you can, take a 'comfort', 'luxe' or 'extra luxe' bungalow. They are new and very nice decorated. The other bungalows are ok, but a bit outdated.
They have enough activities for kids and the indoor pool is ok.

We stayed with a family of 4 at the Sluftervallei. The 4p comfort cabin was nicely furnished. It would be tight with 4 adults or larger kids (ours are 8&10), but it was perfect for us. Short walk to the beach for a stroll, fun activities for kids and a really nice grocery store on sight. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of quality and products for a vacation park.
We will likely come back to stay again.
The only downside was paying for wifi. I feel this is a ridiculous thing in this day and age, especially since we paid premium price for a vacation season.

Great accommodation, great quality. But everything in the park is more expensive than anywhere else. You will know within a day. So consider this and all is perfect.
For easy and luxury it is unbeatable on the Island. Not busy yet in June. Even if weather is bad, the chalets are large enough not to get in each others way ;-)

The sluftervallei is a nice bungalow park in the north of the island of Texel. Most of the bungalows are of reasonable quality and are located scattered in the dunes with lots of space in-between. The park has a nice pool best suited also suited for small kids. It's located about 2km from the beach and 4km from the actual slufter which is a great nature park ideal for hiking.

For our wedding anniversary we decided to invite the family and partners for a long weekend at Landal Sluftervallei. We had a large, luxurious bungalow with four spacious bedrooms, sauna, solarium, bubble bathtub, a cozy fireplace and enough living space. The whole family intensely enjoyed the weekend, having long strolls through the dunes and along the beach and visiting some interesting sites. The restaurant de Brasserie serves a very good menu at an affordable rate. We will definitely return and can recommend a stay here.

I recently stayed here in a 12 person house (number 412 I think) with 7 other relatives, including my parents, aunts, uncles and my grandmother.
The house was spacious, modern and clean. It had two bedrooms on the ground floor and four more upstairs. The downstairs bedrooms and bathroom with toilet were ideal for my grandmother who can't climb stairs and walks with a walking frame.
There was a total of four toilets, handy when you have a large group of people.

Every day we saw wild rabbits nibbling at the grass outside. So cute!

We had a large lounge room and huge dining table, enough space for everyone. There was no washing machine however, strange considering that there was a huge laundry type room behind the kitchen. It was an L shaped room, had a drying rack, broom and mop in it and had its own door leading outside. Plenty of room in there for a washing machine so not sure why they don't have one. Would have been handy, but oh well, we took our washing home.

We enjoyed the park's indoor heated swimming pool, shopped at the little shop and ate at the buffet place but not at the snack bar.

The beds were comfortable but they supplied no top sheets. Just a fitted sheet, pillow with pillow case and a white quilt/comforter/doona (it's called different names in different parts of the world). This bedding was at times too hot but lying on the bed with nothing at all was too cold. At top sheet would have been just right to sleep under. What I did was remove the quilt from its white cover and just slept under the cover.

We had a little good weather but also some windy/rainy days. In high wind, something bangs on the roof above the two bedrooms with single beds upstairs. We went outside during the day to have a look, and could see nothing at all that could have been banging around on the roof. The noise was loudest in the room I slept in, but could be heard in the other twin single room too. I slept on a couch in the lounge room for one of the nights we stayed, because the banging was constant and I couldn't get to sleep and ear plugs did not help at all. Stangely, the banging stopped the following day and I was able to spend our last night sleeping back in my bed.

A handle broke off one of the fry pans during our stay. My uncle picked up the pan to flip a pancake and there was an almighty crash as the pan dropped back to the stove top and my uncle was left with the handle in his hand.

Aside from that, everything else was in working order.

The wifi internet was free and worked well.

In all, a good place to stay.

Beach was nice as was the lighthouse. Lots of dead rabbits. A bunny pandemic going during our visit apparently. Houses were fine, staff was friendly. Good if you have kids, lots of attractions. Be sure to visit the brewery (Texelse). Skumkoppe ftw.

We booked a mid week in the extra luxe 8 person accommodation since we were travelling with a family with one kid, grandfather and grandmother (not married) and us.

The accommodation was really very new and modern with all amenities, 2 bathrooms, big living and dining, open kitchen, terrace and parking places. It has everything you need. Our house had the terrace attached to the kitchen which was extremely comfortable.

The extra luxe one comes with 2 bathrooms instead of one and a sauna and solarium. Mainly booked it for the 2 bathrooms as I find this necessary when travelling in a larger group. Not sure why there would be a solarium in such a new holiday park - is this not something from from the nineties. But this is not something to complain about since it really does not bother at all, you just leave it in the room.

The park has a park shop with all you might need last minute, even a fresh orange juice machine. Selection of fresh veggies not the good but you can manage. Fresh bread and bread-rolls in the morning.

Lot of activities like a pool, playgrounds, mini golf, bike rental etc and the nature park right outside your doorstep.

Lovely family holiday park - not a boutique hotel but very fit for purpose
