We had a fine stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, though the cleaner left his/her cleaning cloth in our bathroom, and has everything you need: a small bahtroom with a shower, toilet and sink, and a room with a bed and two chairs. The bed is really soft, which I wouldn't recommend other pregnant women, since it gives a bit of a back ache.

The only real downside of the room was that there's a sign that you're only allowed to eat food from the hotel itself in your room. We looked at the menu and there were literally no vegetarian options available. We therefore didn't comply to the rules and had some take-out at Porterhouse, which offers food at approximately the same price and does have vegetarian options.

O, and also, the hotel is at the waterside and looks quite idyllic, but it's actually not in a too nice neighborhood: when you start walking around, there's mostly car dealerships around.

This was our second stop in a three Fletcher Hotel road trip of the Netherlands and was our base to visit Floriade and was a four-night package with dinner on the first and third nights. The hotel is in the refurbished and active harbour area of Huizen and beautifully landscaped. The room wasn't ready on our arrival at 18h00 but we were given a welcome drink in the bar by way of compensation. The staff were very polite and friendly but we suspect the breakfast staff and housekeeping staff were overstretched as breakfast was a little chaotic (particularly if arriving later); and our room wasn't serviced every day. The inclusive dinner was in the form of a tasting menu: excellent quality but small portions (barring the dessert). We also ate at the Italian restaurant which we can also recommend. Our main quibble with the room, although attractive and comfortable, was that it was not dark enough at night due to the nautical porthole on the door. This is a multi-building complex with separate accommodation blocks. We didn't find this a problem and could drive the car to load and unload. We took our own bikes and used the storage facility provided: good but only one key which had to be collected from and returned to reception - perhaps a rethink on that? We felt that package was very good value with a bottle of wine on departure. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

Amazing location, really beautiful and peaceful.
Nice staff.

Terrible breakfast. 14,5€ too expensive for the quality and the content. One of the chosen options was scrambled eggs, and it was "something" yellow floating on water (disgusting), a pity I didn't have my phone to take a picture... .

There were not amenities in the bed rooms, you have to ask for them. We asked for some body lotion and they didn't have it.

Old mattress, it was like sleeping on a hole.

Fantastic room with brilliant view the hotel was a excellent getaway reminiscent of an old fishing village if it wasn’t part of the fletcher chain you would guess it was a boutique hotel. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We ha the set dinner which was good but no choice

Good location & good atmosphere, stayed only one day but for sure will come back, in the night it is very relaxing.
In the same square there are different choices of restaurants.
In summer must be even more attractive.

Room clean with nice harbour, sea view & good traditional Dutch architecture. Basic room with good bed, clean sheets, fresh towels daily, warm shower, no frills. Location near useful LIDL supermarket (3 min walk) & bus station (10 min walk). Good bus connection to Amsterdam, traditional Laren & old churches (poshest place in Holland).
10 out of 10.

Group of 17 demanding guests. Wonderfully catered for very patiently by the team including Timo our lead waiter in e Laguna restaurant. A few courses unavailable but substitutes offered so considering the group size ok.

As the hotel is based in a Marina, there may well be one for the yachtsmen to use, but we did not need one so I really cannot answer your question. Have a nice holiday.
