Set in a quaint (well, for a foreigner) waterfront part of Huizen, the hotel offered us a very warm welcome after somewhat of a nightmare journey in. The check in was very smooth, but more importantly they kept the restaurant open past their normal closing hour for our group - which is truly amazing!! The place itself I would rate... More

We had dinner in Laren and we decided to stay somewhere nearby. We found this hotel by chance. It is nice place to stay for the weekend; there are four restaurants and bars in the hotel and around. The hotels are basic but nice. You wake up looking at the boats and the breakfast (and lunch/dinner) is good. Authentic dutch... More

The location of this hotel is rather strange, I can't say I was a massive fan. A little harbour with some quirky pubs and hotels in amongst what felt very industrial. The hotel looks lovely, the building is aesthetically pleasing and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. The downfall was the average food and average rooms. No tea or... More

Nicely located near an interior sea alongside a group of several restaurants, this hotel has lots of charm. The rooms are functional, tidy with comfortable beds. Staff is extremely friendly. Yet, the air and heating system generates a permanent, disturbing noisy blow even when stitched off. Pity for those who are not heavy sleepers.

Good service, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, lovely lake-side location with some stunning views BUT rooms are lacking in several ways. There are no refreshments in them - tea/coffee/water, never mind a mini-bar. So if you wake at 6, you cannot get a drink as breakfast starts at 7. There is no ironing board - which for a traveller taking shirts... More

I was there for a conference and it was absolutely brilliant! Wifi available all over the area, great hotel room, clean and well equipped. Good quality food for breakfast, lunch an diner, nice service. I can only recommend this place. The hotel does not have a fitness room, however there is studio right next to it and you can pay... While this is about 30-40 minutes from Amsterdam it is a great option for a lower cost hotel. It's in a very quaint area by the water. It has a very good restaurant, bar and outdoor patio. Breakfast is good and included. Bikes are available to explore the surrounding areas. It's about a 10 minute cab to Naardan train station... More

The hotel is spotless, the room was not huge but spacious enough, the bed comfy and the bathroom practical and super clean. We also had a terrace and not a view to the sea, but still was nice enough. It was not noisy, we had a great quality sleep and the service was very good. Maybe the person in the... More

The rooms and facilities of this hotel are spread out over several buildings with a historic look in the charming harbour area of Huizen, where one has gone to great lengths to preserve the historic charm and character of the place. I've been in two hotels here, and this Fletcher hotel is definitely the nicest of the two. Historic-looking on... More

Rooms have water views are very comfortable & well equippped. Staff are very good ; food (especially breakfast ) is excellent everything was really perfect. Its a new complex - a central admin & restaurant with several buildings of accommodation. Its a bit sterile & whilst everything is near perfect , you pay for it. Its only fair value
