Our stay at HUP was ok, but we'd rather not come back again. Our room 209 was spacious, but not very clean and we had to ask to have the bathroom cleaned again. Even after that, we could still see traces of our predecessors. We had asked for a quiet room but this was opposite the elevator with a connecting door. The view from the window was against a wall. Overall, the hotel and facilities could need more love and care. The carpets and sofas in the lobby are in need of cleaning. The sauna is nice but could need a refresh / cleaning too, especially the silent room. Be aware that sauna and fitness have restricted opening hours on weekends, which are very limited. Some sports require extra payment which was not super clear on the website. Cinema was out of service. Food is ok but nothing special, but the service is mostly run by students and a little chaotic. We decided to go elsewhere on the second night. On a positive note: Staff is very friendly and parking is conveniently located across the street. Breakfast was ok but chaotic. However on a >150 Euro daily room rate, we had expected more.…
Nice rooms, pleasant swimming pool, excellent fitness, much to do for children. Rooms were large and clean. Provided with quick check in and check out. Bowling was really interesting. Several entertainments for children. Grill Restaurant was great and tasty.
I stated for one night with two young kids and was very nice. The price is very good compared to other places. We loved the swimming pool that is opened for the most of the day and small kids can really enjoy as its not deep. Also there is monkey town.
Very good and child-friendly hotel. We had a great stay with children in the age of 2 to 15 years. Nice grill and bowling area, bit old, but oké. Free indoor playground "Monkeytown" and additional street-jump. The street-jump isn't as big as they promote and therefor it is a bit expensive. Indoor swimming-pool is nice, although a family dressingroom if you are visiting with small children would have been better. Service is really good and they take care for all our requests. Rooms are nice and clean and the in-between ping-pong table dividing two rooms is joy-full. Breakfast is really good and there is a lot to do to sport, relax and play.
I stayed for the second time at HUP. I chose this hotel because of all of the great sports facilities. We, a party of 4 (two kids), had a great time bonding over sports activities. You can play badminton, football, badminton, basketball, tennis, mini golf, table football, bowling, squash. Monkey Town, the indoor playhall next door is included. Also in the same building, was JumpStreet. There is a swimming pool and you have full access to the fully equipped gym next door. There is a mini movie theater. We were never bored. We had so much fun. A trip to Hup will be a annual trip. I am looking forward to next time. Staff is really friendly and breakfast was excellent. The only thing is that I would find fault with is the menu which consist mostly of pizza and bread (in the afternoon). I would love to have more healthy options. We booked a double room and there was a door which opened up to become a table tennis table, so we could play the game from our own rooms.…
We had a luxury CLUB room (1 adult, 1 kid) which was really cool, nice bathroom with a bathtub, very comfy bed, nespresso machine and Climate control. Some nice sporty touches to the room like a basketball net in the desk leading to the bin, soccer ball tiled bathroom floor and nice carpenting. We liked the grill/bowling offer including drinks for 3 hours. And there was just a lot to see and do for a weekend. A weekens is more than enough though. There was plenty of free parking available.
The was clean, could have been cleaner for sure. Reception staff was in training, she friendly and helpful. Didn't like that the hotel assumes you have a car and charge you parking. Bar area was not clean, staff did not seem to be in any hurry to clean it, actually felt like they did not want to be there at all. Dishes left on tables for a long time. worst part was the restaurant, both main dishes were tasteless, no seasons or flavour. We did send he steak back as it was over cooked. Staff didn't feel they needed offer anything for 2 meals uneaten. Sports facilities, were fun. The 3 teens we had with us, enjoyed the pool, bowling and general fun staff around the hotel. We used the squash courts, which were fine.
Me and my 14 year old son stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was clean. Nice details in the styling. Kind and helpfull staff. The breakfast buffet was a nice variety. Dinner was good. The grilling was delicious and much fun. If you are able to drink and eat a lot it is value for money, but when you cannot eat and drink a lot like me and my son it is expensive. The pool is not really big and does not offer a good oppertunity to dive in as advertised. Not really good for swimming to, because the pool is not deep enough. I was not able to use the hottubs, they were constantly occupied. The sauna was really nice. I especially liked when a staff member came in and put aroma in the sauna and had sort of chinese fan she wove around with nice aromas. Overall me and my son had a very pleasant and active stay. We will definately revisit this hotel again.…
Room was not clean by arrival. No free drinks or excuses. No warning when the room was clean. On the bill was a strange post for an extra bed, we didn't use. Removed from bill without ant excuse. Service in bar/terrace was vey bad. Dirty tables, not cleaning the tables. Slow service and by a request was there no follow-up Breakfast good, lots of staff and good assortiment of food Room was really clean, dust on tv and floor. Grill/bowlen was nice, good service and assortment Lots of sportfacilities, but not any survey or explanation The service is some (important) departments is not good. Slow and no survey from management. We paid almost € 700 for two nights with 3 persons. For a sleeping area, 2 breakfasts, one diner and some bar/terrace use.
We had a brilliant time during our stay at the Hup Hotel. So much to do and our little 3,5 year old had an amazing time. The food was great and the amount of different options during breakfast surpised us! Overall: great for a 2/3 night visit and really no need to go outside because the place has it all! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the design + quality of the inside is very nice!
