Upon arrival friendly and helpful service. My room was on the park side with a nice view on the park. The room itself is old-fashioned and defiantly could use some renovation. Just like the room the utilities (water boiler, TV and hair dryer) are outdated. Room is not equipped with A/C, meaning the temperatures during summer could be somewhat unpleasant. There is also no safe for personal belongings. The wifi-connnection was rather poor in the room. There are some mould spots in the bathtub, however the bathroom itself is quite clean. The bed was not very comfortable for me as the matrass felt worn out. The location of the hotel is perfect in the centre of Etten-Leur. Restaurants, café and supermarkets are on walking distance. Although due to covid restrictions all restaurants where closed.

The hotel side is dated but the good food and friendly staff make your stay a pleasant one. The town of Etten Leur is quiet with very friendly people and a great weekly market. The city of Breda is close by and well worth a visit. Good value for money.

Where do I begin Pubic hair in bath, broken lights in bathroom, dated & stained carpets, dangerous broken sockets, rusty radiators, no WiFi in room, no telephone in room( just in dingy corridor), woken at night by drunk people at bar, woken in the morning by noise in corridor, poor service from start to finish, felt like they just wanted the money, photos are deceptive (of the bar not hotel), WORST hotel in Holland and I’ve been to many. Stay far away!!!!

Never seen so much mould in a room, big stains in the carpet, and a lot of stuff was broken. Walls outside of the room are covered in mould too. I don’t expect a lot for 69 euro, but this is insane. We only stayed because we drank too much to drive back home...(also the reason for booking a room)

We came for a flower parade in Zundert on Sept 3 as this town is only 15 minutes away. We think the property was just fine. Clean rooms, adequate size, tub shower awkward to enter and exit, but this is what it is. Staff super friendly. A neighborhood place as well. Lovely garden in the back to walk about. To our surprise, their dining room has a real chef who put out an amazing gourmet meal! Easy buffet breakfast - can make your own omelet if you choose. I highly recommend it. It's also a great value. Would have liked one more thing, but that is probably the American in me: convenient parking on site. Only negative: walls are thin, so can be noisy depending on your neighbors. What I highly highly recommend is go to Zundert for the flower parade!
