Hotel de Zwaan is a small and cosy hotel/restaurant. We like to be at your service. The rooms are shaped and have their own bathroom, seperate toilet, TV, WiFi, and free parking. Our hotel is situated in Venray centre, where you find a broad scala in shops. The square Grote Markt, is loved for its horeca. In the direct neighbourhood you find the pride of Venray, the church St. Petrus Banden.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
An older but very central and very comfy little hotel. It has a bit of "Fawlty Towers" vibe to it, but meant in a very positive way. Beds are very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Parking is recomended at the nearby Raadhuisplein since you can buy a parking ticket at the hotel for only 2 EUR.

I had quite a large room, a bit dated would have preferred a room without carpet and with better soundproofing but the bed, couch and sofa were very comfortable. Facilities for tea are in the rooms but no coffee which is okay for me because I seldom drink coffee. TV with plenty of channels. The service is good and friendly, when I booked the room on premises the manager lowered the price so I suggest that if possible you book personally and not online, maybe you will be lucky too. Breakfast was okay, Dutch/continental style.

Nice room, food (breakfast and dinner) and staff were excellent; quite warm when we were there so open windows meant noise from outside in the square and church bells opposite was intrusive sometimes.

The Orange committee held the reception after the annual remembrance day at the Zwaan. The served appetizers were delicious, the staff is professional and very friendly. If you are looking for a good meal or a nice place to stay I would definitely recommend this place.

From the outside the hotel looks nice, but the rooms and bathrooms are very outdated. Upon arrival in the room there was no soap, shampoo, etc. When I asked for a small bar of soap to wash hands, I received a bar of soap from the pantry from a nice lady who worked there. All the staff were friendly though. There was no smoke detector in the room, which I found a bit strange. Furthermore, the sandwiches in the basket at breakfast were moldy.

Brasserie de Zwaan is located on a lovely square in Venray. With friendly and thoughtful service. Enjoy the sun and good dishes.
Gluten-free food was well prepared and the service also thought carefully about this.

Absolutely not worth repeating, the municipality of Venray should be ashamed that this so-called 4-star hotel does not have a smoke detector in the rooms. This is mandatory. This was reported to the municipality: no response, the municipality takes no responsibility, nor does the hotel. No response to emails!

goodmorning,
Our hotel is located in the centre of Venray in a pedestarian area. Until 12.00 o'clock one can enter the centre by car. Later during the day the centre is closed for motorised traffic.
Parking is since november 18th free of charge. As we are a hotel in the centre it is impossible to park in front of the hotel. Parkingplaces are nearby and just a few minutes walk.
We hope to welcome you in our hotel in the near future.
