Maasresidence Thorn Park is a fully equipped park, located in a beautiful area in the heart of Central Limburg, within walking distance of the white colored town of the same name. From your holiday home or harbor apartment you can easily walk to the versatile central building. You can find the reception here and also rent a bicycle or a sloop, for example. At the same time, Humphrey's Restaurant awaits guests with breakfast, lunch and dinner, both inside and outside on one of the terraces. There is a takeaway or delivery service available for your comfort. The same building houses the Humprey's Café & Take away, a lounge bar, a brasserie, a Local Specialties Shop and even the Happy Benny Children's Club and a large bowling alley. A little further on, in another building, you and your children can enjoy the beautiful indoor swimming pool which among other things comes equipped with a slide, a whirpool and a separate paddling pool. Sunbathing and lounging on the enclosed outdoor terrace is also a possibility. The marina gives you the possibility to moor your boat or sloop. The beautiful beaches offer you the chance of enjoying all kinds of fun activities when the weather is nice, such as swimming or paddling, surfing, supping, wakeboarding and even e-foiling (a new type of electrically powered surfboard). The park is therefore surrounded by the waters of the Maasplassen, the largest continuous water sports area in the Netherlands! Maasresidence Thorn Park is not only a true Eldorado for water sports enthusiasts, the beautiful natural landscapes in its immediate vicinity are guaranteed to invite you to take a walk (to Thorn) or ride your bike in the area.

Parc Maasresidence Thorn garners praise for its family-friendly atmosphere, modern decor, and spotless conditions. The hotel's location is lauded for its scenic beauty and private beach, while the spacious and thoughtfully designed rooms cater well to families and guests with disabilities. Although the value is appreciated, some guests have noted high costs. While the amenities—ranging from terrace heaters to swimming pools—are popular, the service has received mixed reviews, with occasional slow responsiveness noted in the restaurant and reception areas.

We spent some great days with friends at the Maas residence Thorn. The complex is very nice, well maintained and extensive and each house is somewhat individual. We were in house number 175, which is right in front of the water and is in front of the other houses, so the neighbors can not look in so well and you have an unobstructed view. We had a great view of the water and over the harbour. At the front there was a small further terrace with sun loungers. This house also had a radiant heater for cooler evenings, which was very good for us. It was a twelve-person house and there were six of us here, so everyone had their own bedroom. The house was very cozy and we felt very comfortable here. The resort also offers a restaurant (very tasty), a supermarket and other facilities such as a swimming pool, bicycle rental and children's playground. When booking you can choose a house via the interactive map, which I would highly recommend, as the location of the house is absolutely crucial.

We spent an unforgettable weekend in Wellness House 221. Great interior and well thought-out room planning. The sauna, shower and hot tub directly on the terrace can be used with dry feet even when it rains.
The swimming pool is adequate with a baby area and tube slide.
The staff in the restaurant were unfortunately quite overwhelmed and we waited a long time for some fries. But they still tasted excellent.

We had a great time. The two of us and our dog stayed in an apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and fully equipped. Dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee machine towels, etc. Even a terrace heater, so we could sit outside all evening. View was amazing. Setting is beautiful, we have walked a lot. Only point of improvement is the shower, especially the shower head (a rain shower would have finished it off). All in all highly recommended!

Super nice accommodation and location. Humpreys is super tasty and cozy, everything is in tip top condition, price-quality, this is highly recommended. Was our 2nd time staying here, this time in a larger house and we will definitely come back.

Apartment houses are very centrally located, are great furnished and very clean. You feel right at home. Also the restaurant " Humphrey's" in the park is highly recommended, breakfast buffet is available even if you only go for breakfast for two and nobody else comes to it. The buffet left nothing to be desired. Thumbs up for this service

Very neat park with luxury wellness cottages. Early June with 10-15 degrees outside can still sit outside because of the heaters, very nice! One bedroom downstairs so that disabled people can also work out, and many water sports activities / water recreation nearby. The park itself has an indoor pool with water slide, very nice for when the weather is less. Very child friendly park.

We were looking for an alternative to the classic CenterParcs and found it here. The houses are modern and not yet so worn out, the park not excessively large, everything is clean and tidy. Swimming pool small but sufficient. The restaurant surprised us. Taste really top, but always very full, absolutely reserve. The small supermarket offers everything you need. The playgrounds were fun for the children.

We had a 4er house with outdoor kitchen, which we also used several times. Top! Unfortunately, the sauna in the house is also quite small for 2 people and hardly possible to lie down. Super annoying was the non-removable stair grill upstairs because always somehow in the way.

The small town of Thorn is very cute and almost all in white, but there is not much going on there.

Conclusion: Our children are 9 and 11 years old and don't need the constant fun of a CenterParc (anymore), so you can look for more pleasant alternatives and this one is one of them. We will definitely come back.

We took a 5-day trip with a group of friends at the beginning of June and stayed in a Luxe 6p. This is a villa in a holiday park so it has everything you need: the bedrooms are spacious, and the kitchen has all the amenities including cutlery, salad bowls, and wine glasses. The terrace is the perfect place to lounge after a day of exploring the area.
There is also a park supermarket where you can buy the main groceries. We also had dinner and drinks at Humphrey's restaurant - the view from their terrace at sunset was incredible!
You can rent a bike or a boat and explore the Maasplassen or go and chill on the MRT Beach and enjoy the natural reserve near the Belgium border.

It is a beautiful, clean and new park. The house is fully equipped and clean. There is plenty to do in the park and in the surrounding area. We really liked the large and quiet garden with canopy. As far as we are concerned, the floor of the swimming pool could have been cleaned a little more often. Furthermore, we are very satisfied with our stay and we can recommend the park to everyone.

12 of us booked to stay at this accommodation, (in one house) You see the pictures online and hope it will look the same, it most definitely did! (Obviously depends on what property you get)
We were 3 families, we each had our own bathroom per family and all toilets are separate.
The house is well equipped if you decide to cook. All towels and bedding is provided.
The terrace area is beautiful and I like the fact it is covered.
The variety of facilities within the complex is very family oriented, bowling, swimming, bike hire, kids club are a few of the things available, some are chargeable. But prices are very reasonable.
I was disappointed though as there wasn’t a gym on site.
The reception staff were so welcoming and willing to help. They went above and beyond with any queries we had.
Thank you so much for a memorable stay!!!!!
